Title: ROLL CALL: Where will you be watching Marquette tonight?
Post by: Avenue Commons on March 15, 2007, 09:26:56 AM
I'll be at the Schoolyard in Chicago with 200-300 fellow Marquette alumns cheering on a Marquette victory.

"Ring Out Ahoya!"

Ring out Ahoya with an M.U.Rah Rah,

M.U.Rah Rah, M.U.Rah Rah Rah Rah Rah

Ring out Ahoya with an M.U. Rah, Rah,

M.U. Rah Rah for Old Marquette. Rah! Rah! Rah!

I was thinking the Schoolyard, but I won't get there until tip, and figure there will be NO ROOM, so I am going to try Finley Dunn's... good time to check it out, thanks for the advice everyone on the board of other Chicago Marquette bars... unfortunatley I will be in my suit from work as I have no time to change... atleast I have a yellow tie with a blue shirt.... I know my suit will smell like a bar, but it will be worth it with a solid Marquette win...

I'll be at the BW3's about 250 miles north of you in a very rainy Longmont, CO - joined by the entire MU club of Longmont (usually just me...but I believe there will be a small gang of us watching games today...)

Stuck at my fire station with a MSU alum.   Should be an entertaining night.  Here's hoping the citizens leave me alone for a couple of hours.

Kegger party in the suburbs of Chicago thrown by the local Catholic church's mens club. Four 10 ft HD projectors showing all four games. I hope it ends as well as the Pitt game that I watched with MU alumni gathering.

Everyone's jealous, no doubt. I'll be the white guy in gold drinking out of a large, plastic Marquette mug. Come on over and say hi.

Lookin like I'll be at Ginger's Ale House in Chicago with a couple other Marquette Alum.  Not a specific Marquette bar but they'll have the game on.  Hopefully, I'll have time after work to get into my Warrior gear.

For the St. Louis people, can someone provide specifics where you might be? I'm on my own here and need some MU people to watch the game with. I saw someone mentioned Krieger's - which one? Thanks in advance.

Right side of my sofa. Left side will be full of pillows to throw at TV/and/or walls in case MU is losing and/or I don't like an official's call.

I have little nerf basketballs and footballs to toss... always works well, they usually bounce back for the next blown call.

A little late but St. Louis people need to check in with the dude who runs the St. Louis MU group...don't know him...but his name is Matt Sallaberry...

Flannery's in STL is a good spot for games...better than Hot Shots, or Krieger's or the other past ones.

The Kriegers was city one on Oakland.
