First off, I think MU will be in the NCAA. However, if they don't and choose not to go to the NIT, are there better (less embarrassing), options for post season games?
Why wouldn't they play in the NIT?
I thought there were some new options...
Not many...thinking about the NIT makes me throw up in my mouth.

The new options are not worthy of discussion
Are you thinking of the CBI?
NO
I like the option of winning 2 or 3 games this week and playing in the NCAA.
There are not options outside of the NIT. Frankly, I don't even like the option of the NIT. With 68 teams its even more NCAA or bust for me, baby.
I would like to get to 20 wins to keep that streak going. I want to be in the NCAA, but I be pleased with winning some NIT games. The only thing is that MU probably does not win a road NIT game. At the start of the year there were only 9 teams that had been to the NCAA touranment the last five years. This group includes MU, Gonzaga, Mich St and Butler who are all bubble teams. The fact is that most teams do not go to the NCAA tournament year after year.
Don't recall the exact #, but something like 120 teams won 20 or more games last season. Very outdated gauge.
