I have an unusually strong feeling that Seton Hall's huge start will fade and that Marquette will not only make this a close game but will exit the victor.
That is how I see it happening.
I hope you're right, but I don't know how SH won't continue to hit the three at this rate unless MU actually contests one
Marquette must have strong backs because they are great at digging themselves into holes.
Theres no reason for hope. We cant get a D stop at all, and if we do we have guys like Vander chucking up airballs and Otule fouling.
Have another beer....this is cooked.
mighty deep hole to get out of, but I hope you are right
Hope so. Not looking good though.
We will make it close. Unsure if we will win though.

Agree...we'll make it close. Too bad we came out like this was CYO game and not a critical game and dug ourselves such a huge hole. Then again, this isn't the first time we've done that this year.
Buzz should be screaming his head off right now, throwing plants, breaking clipboards, shattering chalkboards, etc.
Not if SH continues to shoot like this we won't.
Why not pound it inside to Ox on that last posession? A fade away 3 from Buycks?
I didn't think it was possible to give up 11 3's at half but too many were wide open shots.
The one positive is the foul their foul trouble, maybe we can comeback in the 2nd half from the line and let's hope the 'Hall gets iceberg cold from 3.
Drug test the guy that started this thread!

Because a fade away 3 from 25 feet from Buycks is MU's standard way to end the half.

Usually we call a timeout to setup that gem, but this time it was so ingrained we didn't have to.
There is a reason why Seton Hall is 6-11 in the BE. Let's just wait and see how things go in the second half. I think we got a good run in us.

CBB, your double is on Todd's blog!
Color guy says giving up nearly 50 points in a half is an area of concern for Marquette. Thanks, ace!
Getting them into foul trouble didn't help us against Cincy.
Need serious foul problems early for SH.
Need serious early bad 3 point shooting for SH.
Need Vander to play only defense.
MU shoots 70% or better.
It can be done, but this is a huge hole.
Seems like NO ONE wants to shoot the ball except for Jimmy and, of course, resident chukker, DJO.
Think Vander wants to shoot it after the airball? Junior (driving not included)? Chris?
Are the players complaining to each other on the court? Losing any semblance of cohesiveness?
SH now with their biggest lead of the game.
This team is laughably bad.
Seton Hall and its fans will be stunned and numb when Marquette leaves with a single-digit victory.
This one is over. Put it in the record book. Marquette makes a nice comeback to win in Jersey.

I would love some of your opium
We are not even competitive. Awful performance so far.

I have an unusually strong feeling that the program has been going downhill this year with all Buz's guys and we need some big time miracles over next two yearsn to be saved.
We are going to foul out their entire frontcourt...
So many fouls on Seton Hall, we might get back into this game. They're running out of bodies
Hey, now. I'm MU Ave's dealer, and I agree with him.

For the sake of the breakables in my apartment, I hope you're right!
Seton Hall is doing EVERYTHING to give us this game but we are not in a receiving mood apparently
Fouling out their frontcourt is probably going to HELP Seton Hall.
They're going with a smaller, faster group that can keep up with MU.
And since we cant hit free throws...it dont matter
C'mon Buycks!
Just totally infuriating to watch. I feel bad for Jimmy. He's the ONLY one who got off the bus today.
Had our chance. Defense and Rebounding blows it again.
Were going to lose by 22. It's really a joke
Made the "run," then laid down and died. Disappointing.
I like our team, they are just bad at basketball
Were those in bounds plays scripted?
Don't know why I watched this train wreck for so long, but I finally summoned the courage to turn it off.

I joined you. Too painful and embarassed. Feel bad for the fans.

They beat us good, with the bodies on the bench for the majority of the game. SH's second team was better than our starters.
