Huuuge game today. Win, we're in. Lose, we're on the outside looking in.
I need a drink.
Yeah im really worried we come out flat and get pounded tonnight
I hope their is some heart on this team aside from JFB.
I've actually calmed down after watching a ton of other games today. I think we take this one. MU has largely won the games they should (even though they haven't won many that they shouldn't). Cincy was a toss-up, but talent wise against SHU, we should win. Home/away hasn't seemed to affect Marquette much this year (especially given the lack of enthusiasm at the BC), so I'm thinking we pull it out.
Ok, I'm hoping, but positive thoughts never hurt.
This guy
Very nervous. Today proves whether we are tournament worthy or not. If we lose today, we MUST win at least two games in the BET. At least for me to not feel nervous on Selection Sunday.
I'm never not nervous with this group.
Just about Hazell. I hope he doesn't go ballistic in his last home game.

Already did against St Johns. Not too worried about it. Otherwise, I'm really nervous and already cracked a beer. I;m also really nervous about the ESPN3 feed, which is usually sub-par.
lookin' good so far...
I mean
lookin' good so far...
Were gona get pounded
oh my
When does the game start? Looks like our guys are still in bed. How do we come out flat so often in the most important games of the year?
Ugh
Plenty of time left...thank God
Im speechless
MU looks awful. no energy wide open three pointers. St Johbs all over again
When do we try a zone. Good grief they are hot from 3.

Don't worry, they won't shoot this well against us....the posters here said so....oh wait.
Question of the day, what will help me forget this more easily: shot every time MU turns it over, or shot every time SH hits a three? Go.
Not only are we gona get the 1st bad loss, but we are gona get a 20 pt beatdown.
oh my.
we are looking awful.

I told you so.
So, are we up for this game? Sure seems like we are a step slow. I realize that SHU is hot and it likely won't last, but how about we shake it up a little!

You could do it for both. Unfotunately Id only give you a 35% survival rate.
How about we stop pressing and set up a nice 1/3/1 or 2/3 zone?
Make it stop, please make it stop.
We need to speed this game up and take a ton of shots...
Keep drawing fouls, might be our only hope to keep it close in the first half. Maybe it's the game feed on my computer, but it sure seems like we can't jump for a board or get a hand up on D. Just hang in there, get it around 5 at half. C'mon guys!!
The announcers are struggling to find anything good to say about MU. If I was Buzz I'd MT the bench.
8 of 12 from 3 thus far..it won't continue at this rate. MU will settle in and be okay..
As nervous as you are, you always know Buzz will be worse.
Good God....maybe wait until later in the second half to jump off the ledge....lots of time left. Have been just a few comebacks in the BEast this year.
If it is so painful to watch, maybe another UW-tribute thread can start...
So, does SHU have to hit 20 threes before we shake it up and go zone, or something? Just curious.
another one of those stupid big man fouls outside the three point line
They have 14 fouls in 15 minutes. Trust me, that's going to end up being huge down the stretch of this game.
SHU 42 moves every time he screens.

Absolutely agree. This may be our only saving grace.
vander should not touch the ball on offense unless he's laying it up.
then he needs to fake a cramp before he shoots a foul shot and have someone who can shoot come in.
not showing anything out there.
I wouldn't be against laying off the on-ball pressure a bit so we didn't have such difficult rotations and close-outs. I'm so sick of watching us get beat of the ball and then not being able to help and recover. That's on Buzz.
Yes, that's a good point. I think we need to do something to slow them down. Don't have to abandon man to man but shake it up. Confuse them a little.
seton freaking hall is going to score over 50 in a half? against us????
the world has begun spinning backward.
D is horrible What have they been workin on ? where is crowder and whhere is our passion??? I thought MU players never quit!
Man, Butler is big time. Gotta put a little zip in the step here!
Contest the three, contest the three, CONTEST THE THREE >:( >:( >:(
About Time! But you still have to play D!
LETS CONTINUE TO PLAY ZONE AND WATCH THEM SHOOT THE LIGHTS OUT
WOW!!!!! ?-( ?-( ?-( ?-(

Agreed--he should not be allowed to shoot beyond 3 feet. That was a pretty airball from 8 feet. Welcome to Big Time basketball Vander.

What's more sad is being a poser and troll on a rival teams message board. Talk about needing to get a life...
we can only score 35 points?
If SH is going to sit in a zone to try and make MU eat up clock, and hold the ball out on offense MU will get back in this game, but they have to stop getting beat off the dribble. Seems like St. Johns, Cincy and now SH can simply let the clock run down and then beat their man off the ball with 10 sec. left on the shot clock. FRUSTRATING to watch!
No Crowder FG attempts with 14 minutes left. What a mess.
vander glue walks. no movement on offence JB is tired.he needs help. where are crowder or otule or djo?
Did I just see VB get a rebound, fall over, and nearly get it stolen?
Perhaps. But I did just see a fast break slam by Vander. Hope that helps his confidence.
I would carry JB's child if I could

Funny, I saw Vander get a rebound, get taken down, but he kept his dribble, then Crowder hustled to help him and drew the foul (unfortunately missed the front-end)....
We take the ball out of the hoop real well
What is wrong with this team? Not even competitive with everything on the line.
