Good chance to show off in front of scouts from both NBA teams and European teams.
QuoteJust ask Wesley Matthews, the former University of Wisconsin star who is now starting for the Portland Trail Blazers.
????????????????????????????????
Wait, I thought Wes would never have been invited his senior year if not for..... nevermind. ;)

Probably was thinking Madison HS and MU standout, slipped up? Or son of UW standout??
"I like Leuer,'' Parker said. "He can stand behind the (3-point) line and make that shot just like (Steve) Novak"
Yeah, just like Novak.....HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
They've fixed the MU/UW typo.
I'm surprised Leuer is going. I figured he would not need to go to this given his size and talent.
Good luck to Jimmy. He might not have the resume to get drafted quite yet, so this is perfect for him. I could see Jimmy ending up in the league in a few years if he does not get drafted.

E-mailing reporters does work.....

Yeah...that's quite the statement. Novak was 46% over his career from 3 at MU. Leuer is 38%. Neither are all that quick. Leuer is bigger, but not big enough to play front line in the NBA.

Yeah, but not the typo that says "[Butler] is shooting .498 from the field, including .498 from 3-point range." Butler's shooting about 35% from three, certainly not 49.8% (though he did hit for 50% last year). Glad to hear he got the invite, but the article could certainly use some editing.
