Hey guys, here is the revised bracket. I completely forgot about the first MU/UConn game, which makes UConn the #9 and MU the #11.
Well...for some reason the image code still shows the old bracket, but regardless...just swap UConn to #9 and MU to #11, and thats the accurate bracket.
Movement since last bracket (Sunday):
West Virginia (+4)
Cincinnati (+4)
Georgetown (-2)
Villanova (-3)
Marquette (-3)

Would playing DePaul in the first round warm us up, or just make us sloppy for the next game?
Of the 5-8 teams, Georgetown is the one I'd want.
That draw wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.
I'd definitely take that draw.
DePaul is no pushover but can be had.
Georgetown is RIPE for the picking.
Pitt has shown its fallibility of late. A win would more than lock MU's chances but a loss wouldn't necessarily hurt either.
If we beat hall and west virginia losses to louisville and nova losses at pitt we are the 8. Am I right?
I think in this scenario, Marquette would be the No. 11 seed. UConn split with MU and beat Villanova, so it has a 2-1 record in the "mini-conference" of Villanova, UConn and MU. Villanova is 1-1 and MU is 1-2.
But in order to finish 11th, MU would almost certainly have to lose to Seton Hall. If that's the case, then it probably could use a couple of wins in the BET to breathe a little bit easier on Selection Sunday. If the other seeds hold, this would be a decent scenario for MU to pick up 2-3 wins over Providence, West Virginia and Louisville.
I'd prefer MU get the 9 seed. Pick up a freebie against DePaul then get a team like Cincinnati/Georgetown/WVU/UConn in the next round.

Crap...your right. It was late, forgot about the first UConn game! Damn. Let me correct this.
I'd be very happy with Providence / West Virginia.
I'd be happy with the 9 pm start times, too.

If we got 2 wins first, I also wouldn't mind another crack at Louisville to try to make up for the collapse. Though knowing us, and knowing them, they'd find a way to break our heart in the final seconds.
