He hasn't been playing nearly as good as he was earlier this year for about the last month. What do think it is? Teams have a better scouting report on him now, tired legs/fatigue?
Could say the same about Buycks. He was on fire early in the BE season. Now, not so much.
Maybe it's because they are not starting? Don't know why it would matter, but I haven't played BB beyond 7th grade :)
I think the fact that he is not starting anymore has hurt his confidence. The same thing happened to DJO at the beginning of the year. I would like buzz to find a starting line up and stick with it. Also, can anyone explain to me why Eric Williams has been starting?
Trying to avoid early fouls on Crowder. Maybe the focus on that has taken away some of his aggressiveness, resulting in lackluster play.
I thought Crowder's defense and rebounding were bad tonight.
Real bad game tonight for Jae. Sometimes it seems like he just doesn't box out at all. He had 1 2pt attempt tonight too. I feel like the team goes as Jae does. Hope he gets after it on Sat.
If starting Buycks and Crowder is what it will take to get them some confidence, they should start.
Simply put, this team can't win if they both aren't scoring.

Ewill started the Uconn game because, I believe, Crowder and Fulce where hobbled (not sure if it was the flu or injury). We won. (and Fulce and Crowder played that night).
Ewill then started against Providence and we won again.
I think Buzz was being superstitious and going with the same line-up that was winning.
Even though Crowder did not start, he was still getting the same "starter" minutes. Ewill was still backing up, just backing up at the start of the game.
Crowder struggled because Cincy's interior guys are as athletic and bigger and stronger. Bad match for him. We play one true C/PF type at a time and against some teams that's trouble. Cincinnati is one of those teams.

This was also at least the fourth game in a row in the yellow uniforms, and I believe that the yellows are supposed to be the alternate away jersey.

Yeah, I can explain it. More Buzz Williams BS that the 5 toughest will start. What a hypocrite. If you are right about the confidence thing, then Buzz has done a real good job with that on guys like him, Gardner, Cadougan, etc.
I think the team, except for JB, did not play with energy. there are a few issues at last night's game.
1. Nobody puts a body on anyone (boxout) on rebound. If they are that long, and if we know all they want to tip the ball out, we should just stick our bodies for those. We did not react to it. How many second chance did they have?
2. we stood around the perimeter on offense waiting for someone to do something. no one did anything, except JB. it is 5 on 5. I thought Blue tried to penetrate, but his shot/passing is not there yet.
3. Crowder and Blue don't seem to know how to play pick and roll defense, the base line and/or backdoor is always when they tried to double.
