Katherine Carter, the prosecutor's office spokeswoman, said a municipal judge in South Orange-Maplewood found probable cause on Tuesday that Theodore had unlawful possession of a weapon on school property.
Laura Wankel, the university's vice president of student affairs, issued a statement Wednesday night saying the school conducted an investigation into the matter and found "no student in violation" of university policy.
"The university takes seriously any report that potentially threatens the safety and well-being of our community," Wankel said.
I guess that the University must have determined that the gun wasn't loaded.
