Title: I heard Rob's high school is bringing buses down
Post by: Stronghold on March 02, 2011, 10:08:55 AM
Heard people talking on campus today that 3-4 bus loads of people from Rob Frozena's high school will be coming to the game.  Nice of them to support him so heavily if true.

That's awesome! I hope for their sake, we build a huge lead and he is able to play in the game.

I hope we build and keep a huge lead for everybody's sake.  Not just Frozen-A.

I'm going to bring a horse trailer and park it near the Cincy team bus.   You know, see if something happens...

That is awesome.

Not unless he's been one of the five toughest this week at practice.

Doubtful. Not really worth it just because he is a senior and I'm guessing he understands that as well. Notre Dame didn't put their walk-on senior in the game on senior night until less than 2 minutes to play and they were destroying Nova throughout the second half.

He won't start. It's a done deal. Scoopers were clear on that and this site is clearly where Buzz gets his game plan

Ok I know its a pretty low chance, but lets remember Ewill started in the last game!!!

Not hating on Erics, but his numbers are about the same as Robs for most of the BE season. Lots of Zeros!

Hard work this week may get Rob in for the first whistle!!!!!

Said it before, I'll say it again. I love Frozena and what he's done for the team, but there is no way he should start.

Say he starts, say Cincy goes on an early 7-0 run before Frozena gets yanked, mostly by exploiting him on defense, and ends up winning the game 64-63. Would people blame Buzz for starting Frozena? Would they blame Rob for poor play early on when he shouldn't have been in there in the first place?

How many people remember the Seton Hall game from last year? The overtime game where we got out to a 9-2 lead? Do you remember that Seton Hall gave a token start on senior night to John Garcia instead of Jeff Robinson? That 9-2 lead came during Garcia's only 2 minutes of play. Robinson came off the bench and put up 25 and 4 in 41 minutes the rest of the way. Do we still win that game if Robinson had been in there from the opening whistle? Do we even get to overtime? I don't know, but I sure as hell know that I don't want Rob Frozena being viewed as our version of John Garcia starting over Jeff Robinson. And if it bore out the same way, I'm sure Rob wouldn't want that either.

All I am saying is that he has a chance Brew. If hard work gets Ewill minutes why not Rob ?

I'm sure Cronin wouldn't object to Frozena getting intro'd and not starting.
