Title: SOG question
Post by: Fullodds on February 28, 2011, 11:27:41 AM
We have 9 SOG's so far this season.  How many did we have last year....how about since we started SOG.

Well, FWIW, we really have 8 - Frozena got a co-stud, for a personal record of 3pts and 2 rebounds I think.

To answer your question Full, my recollection is that Hayward and DJO pretty much split the SOG with a couple by Butler and a few singles here and there.  IOW this year is more evenly distributed.

My recollection is that Zar won it comfortably by about 5. I think he had around 11? With Jimmy at like 6 and DJO at 4 or 5 i think.

Cubillan had one maybe two for that six for six against Georgetown.  Or at least he should have.

Acker had a 6/6 from 3 range vs Providence.

Thanks, guys.  My point is that we are pretty deep with talent that can impact a game enough to win SOG.  Thinking back over the last 7-8 years and the list tops out at 3 or 4.  Maybe you have a Kinsella-esque v. Pitt moment here or there but it is nice to see so many major contributions this year.
