The box score says he played 7 minutes tonight. Was that all in the first half? I missed the first half and only caught the 2nd half and overtime and didn't notice him out there. How did he look when he was out there?
I missed the first 10 minutes, but ESPN says he started. I did see him in for a few near the end of the first half. I don't remember him doing anything that made me mad at him.
He started, and then played a few minutes here and there. And as you guys point out, nothing awesome, but more importantly, nothing bad (well...one bad blown D assignment for a wide open 3....but everyone on the team has had one of those)! Defense is coming along, which means it may all come together next year.
Williams started? Really? What was the starting lineup?

This is just another example of Buzz hypocrisy--"The 5 toughest will start". He bounces around a lot on these starting lineups. From memory, subs that have started: Cadougan, Williams, Fulce, Blue, Smith--but none of them are regular starters. In one of Buzz's pressers he even said, "Oh I don't know, we wanted to try something different". So it appears that it is as much whatever thrill runs up Buzz's leg as to who will start as to who is the "toughest"

Yes willie because you know more than Buzz who the "5 toughest" are. ::)
I was really impressed with EWill the first 3 minutes of the game. He seemed to be the busiest warrior out there. Very aggressive. Unfortunately, there just seemed to be a lack of chemistry with the team and buzz made a change. I anxiously look forward to next year when he can be a contributing, well-fitting, part of the rotation. His time is coming.

Slim, I thought the same thing - he sure hustled. grabbed one rebound on the defensive end then on a miss (by O'Tule) he kind of pinned the ball between the rim and backboard. but he was moving.

+1 well said
He looked active and played pretty good D. I thought he was out of position on offense a few times and didn't seem decisive about where he was supposed to be. Hopefully it will all come together for him and he can contribute next year. We're going to need him.
