Just send me to every game bitches.  Lol.  ;D

Thought we choked again but good to see the boys pull it out.  Now let's make sure we win the two at home and we should be good to go

Come on man.  It has been a rough season in many ways, but the only "choke" would be Lville (and that required Preston Knowles channeling Reggie Miller circa 1995)  The reality is playing Top 15 teams on the road, is tough.  Elite/Top 15 teams come back from deficits in games.  Finally tonight we did.

"choked" means they played okay.  "pissed themselves like a dog" means they played bad.

Holy cow.  YOU ARE A D--k

It's hard to win on the road.  Marquette now has one more top 25 road win than your homey Bo Ryan.  Respect.

No, stop it. He is not a dick. However, it would be nice if his perspective, for once, came from a positive viewpoint.

You'll forgive me if a double digit lead in the second half that disappears....I've seen that story over and over and over again.  You'll have to forgive me if it looked like it was going to happen again.

Glad we won.  Buzz playing a 2-3 zone, I about crapper myself.  Nice job buzzard.  Great comeback.  You can call me a DI$k all you want but I noticed I got my a$$ on a plane out here to cheer the boys on and I sure as well did that in full throat.  So you can blow me twice tonight and once in the morning.

Lol

God Bless and Go Warrios!!!

Way to go CBB, but better watch out.  You may get put in the penalty box again.

Didn't UCONN have a second half lead disappear? Who cares if we relinquished the lead? Is Chicos only satisfied with games in which we score the first bucket and never trail?

This was a HUGE, HUGE win...anything negative about tonight is asinine. Great game by Buycks, Otule, Crowder (11 boards), Blue, JC, and DJO in OT. Honest to God, what is there to complain about?

Lay off chico on this one - he was there and we won.  And yes, it was absolutely a near choke again.  Everyone agrees this is a huge win.

That's moronic. A "near choke?" Based on what? It was nowhere near a "choke." We lost the lead and took it back. How is that a "near choke?" Some of you guys are ridiculous.

Agreed, especially on the road.

Good for you.  Cheering on the boys out of one side of your mouth, then running to the message boards to call then chokers, the most overused term in sports, especially when talking about a college team gutting out a road win against a top 25 team, not exactly a frequent occurrence.  You are a real humanitarian.

They tore the mall down around the XL Center 5 yrs ago and put in a skyscraper.
Chicos, since you were in my home turf I was looking for my fellow 91 graduate at the game.  I saw NYWarrior and family.

Holy balls, people. Lay off CBB. He thought we were going to choke this one away. He's proud that we didn't. He was shocked we were playing a 2-3 and congratulated Buzz for the successful strategy.

Clearly he hates MU. Probably hates America, too.

If you want to piss and moan about piss and moaners, I suggest you look at the threads from during the game. You'll find a couple of worthy targets.

Chicos, was that you in the suit, trying to jump rows to the bottom section but getting denied by the usher?? At the 4:06 mark in the first half....camera stayed on the UConn bench long enough to see the seat jump FAIL play out. Hilarious.

That Euro-Traditional guy for UCONN almost did us in.  We would have never heard the end of it had the Huskies won this game.

Why would anyone call you a disk?  Are you like Big Blue?

And be honest, if it weren't for work, you wouldn't have been on any plane - stop trying to make it out like some big sacrifice!

Or should I say - "Chicos, the superfan, as long as DirecTV pays for the trip!"

Good grief PRN.  I'm happy as a clam we won.  Why the F are you so damn concerned with what people here think?

For me, whenever you have a double digit second half lead....well I expect to win.  If we would have lost, another game where we had a large 2nd half lead and got nothing for it....don't tell me you didn't think it when the lead was pissed away because we all did.  But we clawed back and won, I'm thrilled.

Still out celebrating right now...having a great time in the city drinking up a storm.

Peace

Airfare from LA to LGA (probably 1st class cause that's how CBB rolls).....$1,600 (paid for by Direct TV)

Tickets to UCONN/MU Game (probably courtside cause that's how CBB rolls)....$400 (free from ESPN)

CBB coming on here claiming he's a great fan for making such an arduous journey to attend the game and then diminishing an MU victory...PRICELESS

How long till we see a post claiming there's an asterisk next to this victory in the eyes of the selection committee because Calhoun wasn't on the bench?

UConn really crapped themselves when they choked away that early 11-2 lead.

Obsessed much?  ATL....yup, out here for business in NYC.  The game was in Hartford, it costs money to get to Hartford last I checked....and I mean personal money, I don't play games with expense accounts.  I typically attend 2 away games a year, sometimes 3.  Some are totally on my dime, like the game I went to in November in Milwaukee and sometimes if I'm in the area for business, it works out well.  At the end of day, I'm 2,500 miles from home cheering on my alma mater.

Brew...yes, UCONN crapped the bed...twice, that's how their fans felt.  Just as our fans felt that way when we did it in a number of games this year and with a double digit lead in this game.  All depends if you're pitching or catching.   ;D   If you're on the losing end, you feel like you crapped the bed.  If you're on the winning end, well it's all about how great the comeback was.  Isn't that how it works?

Great win for the Warriors.  Diminishing our victory?  Nope....great effort.  Typical of our season, we just hate being prosperous but we also hate being embarrassed.  That game was a microcosm of the season in my opinion.  Trailing early, going up big at the half, coming out in the 2nd half and scoring 4 points in 8 minutes...HERE WE GO AGAIN....then the comeback which we always do to cut it close, but this time we actually caught them.  That was the difference.  Great win.

ATL, why don't we meet up for the NCAA Tournament.  I'm going on MY DIME and it won't be in First Class, that's not how I roll.  The tickets will be free, but I'm happy to buy you a few beers.

In NYC, that's correct.  Planning in life is key...it's not like I showed up in NYC and said, oh, MU plays only 2+ hours from here maybe I'll go to the game.  It would have been a lot easier to come out when they were playing in New Jersey at Seton Hall or Rutgers.  It's kind of a pain in the rear to get to Hartford when you're scrambling with meetings all day.

Glad I could represent you and others cheering hard for Marquette.  I was happy to do it, even for those that give some of us here grief 24/7 as if we don't love MU.  Pretty sad that you guys feel that way.

CBB...relax.  I'm not suggesting you are "playing games" with your expense accounts or that you are in any way doing anything you shouldn't.  I have been to many sporting events courtesy of ESPN/Turner Broadcasting/CBS, etc. through my job...it's a wonderful perk of working with those kinds of companies.  I'm glad you could make the game and I would try to do the same if the situation presented itself.  Just trying to have a little fun with you.

As far as the Final 4, I was lucky enough to go when it was in Atlanta a few years ago.  I have two little kids and one on the way so my travel these days is limited to what is required for my job...which is a fair amount.

Enjoy it if you go.
