that write off a game with time left.
NCAA!
Amen. lets start the list of posters we won't be hearing from the rest of the night.
Amen. Lack of heart my ass.
I think I literally said that to a few people tonight. And I apologize for that (2nd apology today).
Nonetheless, folks, if you can't stay behind your team the entire game, then just don't post. Please.
And for HaywardsHeroes32, you have to say something nice about the team as your first post back, or else you're banned ;D
Had a good feeling on this game boys!!
Big win for Buzz!
Dare I say our boys are showing improvement on D?
Huge win. Man oh man did we need that one.
Big +1. I can barely stand to check the board this season. But im posting tonight as a big middle finger to those that bash our boys. I get frustration, but this game has to change so e attitudes in a positive way. Including mine. Faith, people!
Im taking the negative apparoah more often
we finally win!!!!
DJO told all you haters whats up.
That was close. But let's go MU!
Wait ... someone said this team lacks heart????
This team may lack a lot of things ... size ... consistent point guard play .... defense .... traditional players, etc.
But heart?
Sheesh.
Never been so happy to eat a helping of my own words. Fire up Marquette.

Even bigger screw you to those who wrote this game off as a "no way we win" before it even started.
Well said!
It's not over...celebrate this win til midnight and back to work.
Lose two of these next three - even one - and we could still be in jeopardy.
Win out, and THEN I'd pop the Dom...
I'm going to call out one of them...

Look at this guy's posts. How negative can you get?
Right on Ziggy!
This team came of age tonight.

That was definitely a Great win, but we did get lucky when UConn threw away the ball at the end of the second half and DJO made the game tying layup. We had plenty of chances to score late in the second half and we failed to, but most importantly we won the game and we need to move on and win our next three games to secure our bid in the Tourney.
I agree - lucky the refs didn't want to call a foul at the end of regulation.
Hopefully we can have a " who is gbe biggest fan " contest later this week as well. I honestly think there are people here that actually believe others want MU to lose. I sincerely believe there are warped folks that believe this. If a MU fan offers criticism or whatever, it does not make them any less of a fan as anyone else.
Great win tonight. It was scary and looked like another double digit blown lead....this is a fact but sone take this as some kind of terrible insult. It was a fact, nothing moe and nothing less. Bur MU dic something they haven't done often this year, they pulled out the win. For this, everyone is thrilled...the whiny bitches as well as those that are so enamored they are incapable of telling the truth when reality dictates.
This was a game clearly with the season in the balance and could have gone either way. The end play at regulation was scary. Now let's go get a few more wins. Nice job by MU, by Buzz, by the players, and by the MU fans representing

You need a better iphone keyboard dude. Or is that just an android thing that allows you to upgrade keyboards? lol.
Anyone who offers constructive criticism is not a whiny bitch. Anyone whose knee jerk reaction is to always be optimistic that we can win the game, especially those who feel that way hours before tip off, is not a deluded kool aid drinking idiot. The extremes on this board are exhausting. I would guess and hope that most of the fan base is in the middle of those two sides. I certainly agree we have a lot of work to do but the posters who are vitriolic and outright hateful toward our players are whiny bitches and you know who they are because they are all over this board when we lose, but nowhere to be found when we win.
I am still concerned with the first 9 minutes of the second half. A win doesn't change that concern. It's not negative, it's an honest evaluation.
People, rightfully so, bring up questions to the teams performance during those types of stretches as perhaps being a failure on the coaching staff during an extended break (halftime).
I do not believe that assumption. I believe that there are just poor stretches in play when concerning 19-22 year olds, but I understand the concern of other posters. It is not knee jerk when it has happened throughout this year and portions of last year.
I am still stoked from last nights victory, but in a desire to always improve I focus on the stretches where play was poorest as I am sure the coaches and the team will address.
That being said.... I am Looking forward to Sunday for a few Sabbath Beers in the BC.

I am glad that I didn't get kicked out of Sobelman's for the things that I was saying and thinking during those 9 minutes of 1-15 shooting. If any of us claim that we were thinking anything other than "not again", then those that know you well need to call you out. This time was different though. Could it be possible that this is a turning point and we are about to gel in March? Here's hoping.
Pillardean, I agree people rightfully bring up concerns. It's the ones who call themselves nomore(enter player's name) and those who write the game off completely as a no win situation six hours before tip off who are whiny bitches.
For the record, I, too, was groaning during the first 10 minutes of the second half, thinking here we go again. The knee jerk reaction I was referring to was those who are the eternal optimists, who are typically criticized for drinking the kool aid.
Chicos and others seem to think that any time anyone brings up criticism they are immediately attacked. I don't think that is the case. The ones who are constructive about it get a good conversation going. The ones who sling personal insults at the players and the coaching staff are the ones who bug the ever-living shat out of me.

You aren't kidding....then again several libations at the bar, a rainy night back in the city, battery on the iPhone practically on 0%....I was typing fast and taking names.
Glad we won. I believe most MU fans were filled with deja vu all over again but we found away. You look at the stat sheet and you wonder how in the hell did we win that game. UCONN fans weren't too pleased with Walker down the stretch....you thought we had a tough crowd.

You are absolutely correct the first 9 minutes of the second half were again horrendous. "here we go again" I think were my words" maybe a few f boms strewn in there. Butler missed those two free throws to start the half and you could tell what was going to happen. Thank God for Vander Blue stepping to the line and keeping MU in the game...wonder how all the VB haters feels about that...
The real issue though is it did not turn out like all the other games...we won and now instead of the team's collective psyche saying like us "here we go again" they will say "remeber Uconn" huge game to win on the court last night and huge mental lift for this bunch!!
I made my what happened to the junyard dogs post out of pure frustration. My apologies. I just thought there were a couple lose balls David would have dove for when our current players didn't. That being said last night was a happy moment for all MU fans
I agree with the comments we should all stay positive during the games but I don't fault those who voiced their frustrations during. God knows I was swearing and calling names. I just didn't do it on this blog. ;)
