The worst there going to drop to in bracketology is last four in. and that is the worst. If we win out we wil get in with a good seed.

Go 4-1 over the last 5 and they're in...that equates to avoiding the bad loss (Seton Hall and Providence) and beating either UConn or Cincy...beating UConn and Cincy, and losing 1 game against either Seton Hall or Providence.

Go 3-2 and they will need to win 1 or 2 in the BEast Tourney to be in, and even then they are still on the bubble.

Fortunately, it's a soft bubble this year, but we still need help going down the wire. Other bubble teams need to lose and when the conference tournaments roll around, the top 2 seeds from the major conferences need to win and the top seeds in the mid major conferences need to win.

Absolutely not. I love the Warriors, but resume is undeserving.

You say this a lot, and yet I have yet to see the teams whose resumes are deserving. The bubble is soft, willie. What teams that are on it do you think are so deserving of a bid? I'm curious.

With Cincy's win last night, we need 5 more wins including the Big East tourny.  20 wins and we are in.

I voted no for now.  I believe they would need to win 4 out of the next 5 games to make it.  I dont see that happening the way they are playing right now.  They can turn it around of course.  But I would put it at 60/40 against at this point.

I love MU basketball and root for it every year win or lose (I never missed a game during my years with Dukiet and O'Neill). I'd love to make the NCAAs, but I get the feeling that this team has just hit a wall. Their hard work--and they do work hard win or lose--is not being reward in the win column recently and I think it is affecting them mentally. In the SJU game they seemed visibily frustrated more than any other game this year. I hope they get over it soon, but if not, I think the team will be hard pressed to win 4 of their next 5 to set themselves to making the field.

Overnight the poll was more than 50% said we would not make the tourney.
Then the sun came up and the poll turned decidedly more positive.
So, are MU haters all vampires?

Vampire update ... now that the sun went down, this poll has pulled even.

I voted yes because I think we'll go 4-1 in the last 5, which is me thinking with my heart because in preseason I had us losing at Seton Hall and still think with my brain that we will.  Nevertheless, I voted yes because I want it to happen.  If we are short of 4-1, it gets very dicey in my opinion.

5 games left. We go 4-1 and add another one in the BET and we should be fine. But we have to take one game at a time. Seton Hall Saturday. Lets get this and worry about the next week on Sunday. Let's pack the BC and get it rocking

Voted no we don't make it, not because of the one loss Tuesday but because the team that has played the last Tuesday will not go 4-1 and isn't good enought to go

I voted yes, but I voted with my heart. I haven't been this down/disappointed in the team since I have been a fan. I could see a 4-1 close to the season, but I could also see something much worse.

I voted no. To make NCAA they need to go 3-2 and 1-1 in Big East tournament and right now they are not playing well enough to do that.

I voted no. To get in, I figure they need to hold serve at home, win one of two on the road, and probably at least one in the Garden.

That equates to two games away from home won, while winning all home games.

Marquette is 2-7 outside the Milwaukee city limits this year. I don't see 2 wins in 3 road games happening in this league.

I voted yes, hoping for 3-2 in the next 5 and one win in the BET, and counting on the soft bubble. Most other years MU would have no chance at this point barring a long BET run.

Norman, Bro, you coulda skipped all of those Dukiet era games 'cept the very first one against Bucky and saved yourself a lot of aggravation and money.
