It is entirely possible we do not finish above .500.
Tonight is one game everyone, myself included, had us winning.
15-11 and sinking fast.
Kudos to Otule and Jimmy for showing up to play tonight. Really nice game from Chris with the rebounds and blocks.
Pack it in for next year.

I thought Jae had the most heart out of everyone, followed closely by Otule. Jimmy seemed to lose heart at the end of the game...
They keep playing like tonight, they don't win another game and don't make any tournament. Seton Hall, Providence & Cincinnati are all very capable of beating Marquette. And forget about UCONN on the road.
I don't wanna think about it, but I'm preparing myself...
With a professional venue, strong fan base, and high profile program, the NIT would definitely pick us.
That said, I want those kids to DANCE in the NCAAs not shuffle in the NIT.
And don't EVEN bring up the CIBs...

any guess on the attendance for that night?
Of course they will make the NIT, worst case scenario they probably finish 8-10 in the Big east? that's plenty of wins to get into the NIT.
I think we still make the NCAAs. Tonight was the worst full-game performance I've seen from this team in the past 2 years, but I doubt we will play this poorly again. We played well against G'Town for most of the game and came up short. We played well against other tough opposition. We had a letdown, it happens. We should still win 3 more at home, which gets us to 9-9, and will probably be enough with the soft bubble. Get one more road win, or a win or two in NYC and we'll be locked in.

Careful with the emotional pleads for help 79. You're going to be embarrassed by what you wrote tonight in a few weeks.
* I'm sure 79Orange was saying the same thing after Syracuse lost 4 straight (including to us).
* I'm sure 79Hoyas was convinced they were NIT bound when they started BE play 0 - 4.
* I'm sure 79Nova sounds exactly like you not they are 3 and 5 over their last 8.
* I'm sure 79WVU wants Huggy fired.
* I'm sure 79cincy thinks they lacked energy as well.
Buzz has absolute not lost this team. Try understand the difference between a team that is playing poorly now, turning the ball over too much, and getting frustrated. That is what I see.
