is giving Buyckes a run for turnovers and bad decisions tonight
Agreed. Poor decisions so far.
He has so many opportunities to hit a clutch 3 for momentum and he never seems to come through.
tentative.
lacks killer instinct.
no handle; a spot up or in space shooter
frustrating.
He's been the biggest disappoinyment this year imo. Even whe he scores he makes so many mistakes
He's back to his early season form, unfortunately.

The league is on to his pump fake. He doesn't get separation. When he drives his finger roll is very poor. He has to adjust.
At the end of games like this, when he plays a little desperate, is when he's most dangerous. Unfortunately, it was too little too late. He needs to play like that all the time.
Toward the end of the 1st half, St. John's has possession and is in the bonus. The SJ guard was dribbling at least 10-15 feet behind the arc. At that point, I screamed to my buddy..."watch DJO run up and do his little 'hump bump' for a foul to put them on the line". Even though it was predicted, I let out an obscenity that probably had the neighbors wondering if they should call the cops....because the dummy did it! He puts SJ on the line and they tie up the game. Unbelievably stupid basketball...
As someone said earlier, teams have caught on to the pump fake. They are not jumping like they used to, and in the event that they do jump, when he takes a dribble there is someone there . The thing is that many times when he pump fakes, he already has some space. It is looking like he doesn't want to shoot, and hoping to get his guy in the air and try to get a foul. With Buycks not shooting well lately, we need him and Crowder to be aggressive with outside shots because otherwise we have no one to shoot from outside. Jimmy is getting more aggressive from outside, but these are our two best, and DJO is looking to pump fake more than shoot.
