I assume some scoopers must be wrestling fans.......
Did anyone else see The Rock return to RAW last night for his first appearance in 7 years? He crapped all over the "PG Era" that has been taking place the last few years with a 20-minute "Attitude Era" promo. His main focus was craping all over John Cena, who has been the main guy for the past few years.
The Rock said he was back to stay forever (I doubt this) but either way it was great to see him back doing all of his old lines. It really showed how much wrestling today sucks compared to the late 90s/early 00s.

He's in the new Fast & Furious movie. I doubt he's back for good.
Walking Tall, great movie.
The Fast and Furious Movie has completed filming along with another movie set to be released in 2012. He's not filming anything for the next year....
This will make me watch wrestling again.....im not kidding.
It will be interesting to see where they go with the Cena/Rock feud. Ideally it would be a marquee match at Wrestlemania (similar to when Hogan passed the torch to The Rock at Wrestlemania X8). However, The Rock recently said he would never wrestle again.
After the stuff The Rock said about Cena though, they really need to have it lead to a fight between the two. There would be no point otherwise to have The Rock come in and completly rip apart the face of the company. The 20 minutes alone nearly made Cena a bad guy without him doing anything. The Rock had the crowd chanting Cena Sucks on their own. Hopefully the WWE, didn't screw this one up.
Whatever happens, Wrestlemania buy rates just went up significantly.

Edit, not meant to be a joke, just really sad...

STONE COLD WAS ALWAYS BETTER!!
WHAT??!!
ended up catching this live on TV felt like I was 13 again. He used all of his old catch phrases.
I haven't watched wrestling in years and after seeing that I might have to pick up right where I left off. WOW
I am sad I missed it. Is the Rock going to be the heel or is he going to try to turn Cena into the heel?
In light of where the Rock's career has gone lately, I'm guessing that Vince had to write a pretty big check to make this happen.

He'll be doing a ton of promoting though. Plus, if he's wrestling full-time no major film studio will get behind him as a lead.

he's been busy.
Just watched the videos. The man can still work a crowd.

He had the crowd chanting Cena sucks without even asking them too. Even if they tried they couldn't make The Rock the heel.
At Wrestlemania X8, The Rock was the face taking on Hogan who was the heel. Everyone cheered for Hogan the entire match and booed The Rock. The Rock won, but afterwards the two embraced in the ring what many consider to be Hogan passing the torch. This match led to Hogan going back to the red and yellow becoming a face.

He definately wouldn't be working house shows if he returns, so that's 4 RAW's a month lus a pay-per-view. I think he could find time to promote the movies while working only 5 wrestling dates a month.
This is what Cena does when filming his movies.
Reinko, do you realize everyone in your pictures is now dead?
I think that was the point.
Wasn't sure after the Stone Cold was better response. While true, he's still alive haha.

We can't call Cena as the same level as The Rock.
The injury risk is too large. No way he's full time.

That was my point, it was a tiny jab about how you had mentioned wrestling used to be so much cooler back in the day My point got lost admittedly...My larger point was back in 80's and 90's when there was zero incentive or policing for the then WWF/WCW to give two ratshits about their talent. I do applaud the WWE's recent efforts in giving more days off, drug testing...

You're right... not about the dead wrestler thing, but that wrestling was so much better back in the day. I still remember Wrestlefest at County Stadium like it was yesterday. Seriously, after Hulk vs. Andre in the Steel Cage, everything was downhill from there.
The newer guys are dying too. Test, Umaga, Lance Cade, Eddie Guerrero, and Crash Holly all died. Big Bossman died as well.
Yet Scott Hall is still going somehow......

HOLY CRAP!
Thats not my Razor Ramon
I thought Cena was a heel?
Also it's kind of hypocritical that Cena is giving the Rock crap for scaling back (and leaving WWE) when he's trying to launch a movie career

Interesting to see if this moves the Wrestling PPV numbers $$$.
The Rock returns to the ring this Sunday at Survivor Series to team with John Cena before their match at Wrestlemania XXVIII.

Cena is as babyface as they come, which is why kids love him and most older folks dispise him.
Cena has made several movies, however, when he films he never misses a WWE event. He schedules around the WWE.

Despite the fact that I am not a fan of Cena as a wrestler (persona and whatnot), he's by all accounts a really solid dude and a consummate professional. He's one who always, initially suprisingly, comes off as intelligent and articulate in out of character interviews. Pretty similar to the Rock actually.
