I'm not sure exactly what the problem is, but this week has capped a series of games where our offensive production has been awful. My hunch is that teams are pushing us out on the perimeter and helping so we don't drive...and we get stuck. This is why Ox and Otule had some early looks, because teams will live with that as long as we don't get hot from the outside, which is also what generates our tempo.
Still in it with 2:24. But MU did not come out with the same frenetic pace in the second half that they showed up with in the first. Went back to the old way. Why give up on it?
Because Georgetown is playing better defense. Our offense is what sets the pace.
Did MU lost the game because it's offense was bad. I thought I would not say that about this team.
Buycks has been atrocious lately. Look at the shooting numbers lately, and 0 assists today from our starting point guard!
The problem with this team is lack of floor leadership late in games. Junior will only continue to get better and has already shown that he can lead the offense. He needs to play more minutes late in the second half and I'm sorry to say it, but Dwight needs to contribute off the bench.

Any body should be able to see that the ball should not be in his hands the last minute of either half.
I agree completely. Junior has looked great lately. He is not going to give us the points that DB is capable of giving us, but I think he could make this offense get to a higher level
Only 5 assists and 12 turnovers
17% from beyond the arc
67% from the charity stripe
40.0% shooting for the game
3 guys in double figures...Crowder, Blue and Buycks 8 points combined

Dwight has more confidence out there because he is a senior...however even he knows he is not a point guard. I wish Buzz would suck it up and play Junior consistently from start to finish...the point guard position in college basketball is as important, or more important than any other. Right now we have only one point guard and he needs to be given the reigns. He's earned it.
