Great effort and intensity. I love that he's running more guys out there and getting a bit of rest for the main guys. Keeping legs more fressh could help at the end.
VB is doing a nice job out there, lettiing the game come to him and not forcing bad shots.
DG is showing he can be an important part of the team.
Glad JJ got a few minutes, I hope it continues.
Technical foul was an absurdity for all the jawing and trash-talking that goes on out there.
Consolidate threads?
Makes it very hard to follow ppl's comments when there are like 9 threads going during the game.
Real reasons for optimism. We arnt shooting well and still have the lead, we are running deep and still havnt got a big stretch from Jae or Jimmy(which almost always comes at some point), we are playing great D and rebounding. Freeman and wright are getting there, but noone else is and freeman may be out?
Concerns are the fact that we let up a bit late in the half missing the 1 and 1, and letting them back in it. Gtown hasnt got hot yet, and we havnt been showing much of an outside game. Also, were on the road.
Maybe this lead will be a good thing of 4 pts since we normally blow anything over 10.
I would be very surprised if Freeman isn't getting taped up and will be back in the 2nd half.

Varsity Blues like taped up?
2-0 run by G'town. Nice timeout by Buzz to put a stop to that.
...and here comes the collapse. Offense begins to stagnate, freeman starting to turn it on. *sigh* This feels like Groundhog day. Same thing over and over.
EDIT: They're also going ICE cold from the line. That's another regular part of their second half collapses. Ugh.
What the hell goes on at halftime that we choke in the second half every game?
We are playing a better team on the road. Of course they are going to make a run.

Well, part of the reason is the half time adjustments mad by georgetown. They have made adjustments on defense and are intent on keeping the ball out of the paint, making MU beat them from the outside. Our poor shooting isn't helping matters either, especially our free throw shooting.

1. They're not a better team. That's a cop-out and MU has shown that they deserve to be in this game. I'm sick of hearing that everyone is 'just a better team.'
2. Poor execution is poor execution. Missed free throws, missed layups and the like all over the place. They are mental mistakes and are inexcusable. Turnovers, poor shot choice, and lack of half-time adjustment are disgusting. I don't understand why they do this.
Sims got away with a walk on that 3 pt play
no doubt in my mind we're going to crap this game away.
We're not just gonna crap all in the bed, it's gonna be on the walls, in the carpet and on the ceiling.
DJO makes HORRIBLE decisions. It is PAINFUL.
We have no one take over in the second half. we turn ice cold and make bad passes.
The opponents sense our lost confidenceand pour it on.

Yup. Bad shots, silly passes, terrible turnovers...poor 2nd half.
Bummer. Seemed we had an opportunity to catch GTown coming off an emotional win by them
Its too bad that we can't get a complete game out of this team. The defense has looked fairly solid today, yet the offense has disappeared. So frustrating.

Yep. Not a very smart basketball player.

Not totally defending his bad decisions, but it doesn't help that when our offense starts to go south, they all kind of stop creating and look to DJO to do something. By then we're desperate and he's doing something dumb.
I think if MU can drive the lane and hand the ball directly to a Georgetown player a few more times, we'll be right back in this thing

I hope that's not an effort at sarcasm, because it's true. Dude is talented and athletic, but he does some silly things with the ball.

Oh no. You are correct. Makes very bad decisions.

When you see his head go down, bad decision is coming.
what a bad call, that was a block all the way
offensive foul on butler.... terrible call
second half was a mess, we're going to come up just short as usual
Should have been a non-foul.
This team is f-ing infuriating.
Terrible D again in the second half. So many things wrong, including but not limited to spacing and help rotation.
Very hard to watch a Buzz team this year.
good, let's let like 20 sec run off the clock, then foul... okay that makes sense

Yep. G'town scored 40+ in the second half. Very poor.
missed FT's >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
Unreal how a team can TOTALLY dictate the first half of play with great defense and consistent inside scoring... and can totally crap their pants in the second half. It doesn't even look like the same team. Buzz keeps saying "God gives you the same test until you pass it..." well get your act together and pass it already. This act is beyond worn out. If this is what we're going to get year after year out of this team, count me out.

This was a big one. Missed front ends. Jae missed like 4 or more.
Could have been much more interesting if we'd made more.
Plain and simple, we got outcoached in the second half. G-Town made the proper adjustments and we didnt adjust.
Again.

Nope. G'town scored 40- in the second half. Unless 38 is the new 40+.

I typed it before the game was early thinking they'd get there. Thanks for the correction.
