Agreed, very nice minutes thus far.  Using his body well so far.  Even Otule is grabbing some boards.

I wonder if Buzz realized we are playing close to where he is from and decided to finally let the kid play some minutes.  Quite frankly, not sure why it hasn't happened earlier.  I'm sure someone will say it's his defense, but when our defense is already 15th out 16 in the Big East...

To all those Gardner negativitists out there--how is that working out for you?

Give the guy the opportunity and he can play!

So has O'Tule today, buddy.

This is almost a perfect opportunity for Gardner and Otule.  Georgetown's bigs aren't very big, nor are they very quick.

That being said, I like what I have seen out of Gardner today.

Man he has had a great offensive game but he just got abused on that 5th foul.

I thought Sims shuffled his feet.  Solid game by DG today.  Hope he finds more minutes in future games.

This is the perfect game/team for him to play.  Not going to get similar favorable match-ups the rest of the season.  I'm sure he has earned some spot minutes but his defense and conditioning are still a liability.  Playing a team like St Johns is a nightmare for him because they play fast and have quick big men.  Betting we'll go small against St Johns

Yes good game for Davante.  Beast, no.  But good job on the offensive end and defense wasn't bad.
