Nova lost to Rutgers on a four point play with 0.8 seconds left. The game was 1 second too long.
Lost to Pitt tonight as they needed about 0.3 seconds more as the game tying shot was still in the shooters hand (the basket was good). The game was 1 second too short.
Jay Wright needs to hire an assistant coach to help him with the last second of the game.
Nah, Jay has guided his team to a Final Four (and an Elite 8 and Sweet 16s). He gets it
That is in reference to the repeated "suggestions" on this board that Buzz needs to hire an assistant for everything he is not good at. And what is he not good at? Whatever was the last bad play at the very end of the last game we played. (a missed FT, poor defense, questionable call, etc.)
What is good for Buzz has to be good for other coaches too.

What Chicos is saying then is Buzz needs a good assistant for Final Fours (and Elite 8 and Sweet 16s),
The only positive for Jay Wright tonight was that he said the word 'hard' about ten times in a thirty second conversation with Erin Andrews. No idea why his strategy was to go blow-for-blow with Pitt in the halfcourt. It made his team much more uncomfortable than it made Pitt. Woodall's the guy I think you have to try to take advantage of with Gibbs out. Jay outhought himself.

yes, and we need some extra coaches to help us in the second half, coach defense and train on FT's.

I hear that whooshing sound a lot with willie, but hey, I give the old man respect for not only using a computer but figuring out how a message board works.

I heard Erin ask Jay why he didn't take it to the hole and had he considered a back door play. Jay replied the lane was hairier than he prefers but there was no time to shave for unimpeded penetration. He therefore had to go deep. Unfortunately he wasn't able to snatch victory.

LOL... That's just too good. :D
Well, at least he didn't get called for 3 seconds nor did he dribble off his leg.
