Nova blows a 12 point lead with under 3 minutes left. Rutgers wins it on a 4 point play with .8 seconds left.
Things could be worse than winning by 1 and erasing a 16 point deficit.
That is even worse than blowing a 18 point lead with 5:44 to go.

Especially given the level of competition.
Craziest thing is aside from the back-to-back turnovers up by 8 and the questionable foul on the last shot, Nova played as you should with a lead. Rutgers hit more prayer 3s in the final 2 minutes than most teams hit in a week. Crazy finish.
That is what made the game, so great to see.
Hope the Villanova fans are calling out their players for being the choking dogs that they are. Jay Wright has got to go.

We know exactly how that goes. Many times over.
Nova fans I talk to have been down on that team all year. Mental midgets they've been called. Smoke and mirrors to this point.
In the end, every fan must hate their team.

While we're at it, we should probably mention that Roy Williams blew a 14-point second-half lead tonight.

Fire all of them and hire 20 assistants in their stead!
Free throw coach, steals coach, rebounding coach, dribbling coach, inbounds play coach, jump-ball tip coach, shoelace tying coach, desperation three coach, clock management coach, post moves coach

And has how many Top 100 and McDonald All Americans on the team and they may not be ranked come next Monday.
Another UNC thought:
Assuming that UNC gets to the semi-finals of the ACC tourney, make the NCAA tourney, and of course play the first two rounds of the NCAA tourney in Charlotte (where else would the committee put them other than at home)...
They would have played 24 of their 34 games within a two hour drive of Chapel Hill. Must be nice.
Fire Jay Wright, Fire Roy Williams, Fire Pitino for letting ND score the first 10 of OT. If these are the guys Buzz looks up to and respects, no wonder......we came back from 16 down on the road.
