Wade and Matthews?  Isn't Hayward still with the T'Wolves?

Hayward did a stint in the D-League, but I thought they brought him back.  He was listed as "inactive" in the box score for their last game.

There were rumors Lazar got sent to the D-League at some point, but I can't find any indication that that's true.  He hasn't been playing much the last month, though.

Might have just been sent down for that big D league weekend of games that I am not sure where it was or how it worked....  That doesnt help but I am sure someone will know what I am talking about.

Before the season the Bulls were looking at both Novak and Brian Scalabrine for the final roster spot.  They went with Scalabrine, however, now they are looking for an outside shooter.

I would love to see them give Novak a shot, though his defense may hurt him with Thibodeau being a defensive guy.  His defense can't be much worse than Korver's though!

If he does go to Sioux Falls it will not be much of a change since the Skyforce is/are 3-21 so far this year.

Injuries: Wolves forward Lazar Hayward missed Friday's game because of illness.

This is from Jan. 17th.

Rambis said the team is looking into Sioux Falls' D League schedule to see if it'll work to send rookie Lazar Hayward down for some playing time.

Well, I also saw this (http://www.startribune.com/sports/wolves/114251389.html?elr=KArksi8cyaiUo8cyaiUiD3aPc:_Yyc:aUoD3aPc:_2yc:a_ncyD_MDCiU) from Jan 20th:
Quote• Kahn also said he isn't considering sending rookie Lazar Hayward to the D-League any time soon, either. He said Hayward stayed in the NBA earlier this season because of the team's many injuries and he wants him to stay now that the schedule finally will give the team some valuable practice time together.

Looks like Rambis and Kahn aren't on the same page on many things.  Imagine that.

It's too bad that after being taken 30th Lazar ended up with the T-Wolves.  He would have been better on Boston or LA coming in and playing a role in spot minutes.  He is more cut out to be a nice piece on a good team rather than developing into a big minutes player on a developing team.

Novak will get some looks I would guess on some of these good teams.  Dallas really did not need a stretch 4 man with Dirk there.  I was surprised they took him.  Orlando or San Antonio might be good spots for Novak.  I don't see Chicago or Miami taking him.

I disagree. I think Miami could take a flier on him. They have Wade and LeBron who are able to get back on D to offset Novak's pedestrian speed.

They have shooters and will be able to score enough to win.  They need a defender behind Bosh and a PG to cover Rondo, Rose, Felton, Nelson, or whoever.  I don't think Novak has a place subbing in for Bosh or James with Mike Miller, Eddie House, and James Jones already there.
