It's just funny how they announce college basketball and they can't even do enough research to get the players right.  Speaking of that, "Dikes misses the jump shot"

Our 3 bigs with 2 fouls each, just gotta get through this half.  Hitting a few jumpers wouldn't hurt either

Maybe I am glad that I can't actually see this.   Homer sounds exasperated.    EWill time?

We need Butler to scor 20+ - he needs to drive it.

Fulce has played a very solid 1st half, really stepped it up for our bigs in foul trouble

Have bit my tounge long enough. Vander is regressing bigtime. Last 2 hoops were his man. Now his d stinks too.

Good start, but outscored 32-18 after it. Too many forced shots. DJO's spinning drive was ridiculous, and by that I mean stupid. He had two open guys, pure luck that the "shot" fell. And was that 3 from Fulce really the best shot we could get before halftime? The defense hasn't been good, but also not bad. The offense has simply been bad. I'll-advised shots, not playing to our strengths, and too out of control. We're still in this, but have to be much better if we hope to win.

OK MU, you've given up leads bigger than this (more than once).  You know how it goes, you've seen it happen.  Time to turn the table and take down Nova in epic fashion at the Pavilion.

Oh, thanks.

Sorry, I was frustrated.  Fouls on Crowder Buzz mixing and matching his line-up for rest and to get something going.  I do agree with you, however, when JC, Blue and Otule are on the court I ask, "who the hell is going to score."

Get 'em boys.  On the comeback!  Vander making a play!

I haven't listened to Homer all year - does he really say the ball went out of "bounce"?

Just when it looks like we're beat, the guys battle back. Losing Crowder might be curtains, though.

This team is so much better with Otule on the floor.  They are likely not going to win, but they looked awful with Ox out there.

I hate to cry about the refs but.....

Phantom 5th foul on Jae, JFB gets raped under the defensive boards, and the list goes on.

If you can't hit 3's on the road, while the other team makes layups and free throws.....well, yeah.    It sounds like Chris is close to having a really good game.    Still (eternally) struggling with his hands.

The refs aren't the reason we lost, but they were bad and our early foul trouble went a long ways towards determing the outcome.

The Cats needed this game at home and got it.  Too strong down low, great from the foul line, and solid D all night.  We got beat by a better team on their home floor.  Good to get a week off.  The gauntlet ends with us 5-5.  I'll take it.  Start again next weeks in FLA.  Big game coming up.

By no means did the refs cost us the game but they did not do us any favors as I agree with Litehouse as that no call when Butler got shoved underneath the defensive board with MU down 3 was huge; Crowders 5th ( touch foul should not have been called) and 4th (Crowder got hit in the head with an elbow after the first free throw preceding the double technical, but Crowder should have kept his cool).

Too bad some of the shots did not fall in the first half (give 'Nova credit) as it is tough to come back on the road. Give Buzz credit for making 1/2 time adjustments even though they fell short.

Yes, the announcers were brutal but made it comical.

Why would they get on the floor?  What possibly could they have done out there?

Crowder's fifth foul never should have happened. Knowing he had 4, he never should have stuck his hand in there when the guy had an easy 2.  He hit his arm--they're going to call that. Stupid on his part

Agreed.  Completely stupid.  Even worse then running his mouth getting a T.

Wait, the refs cost us the game, right?

He got pushed, no question.  He very well may have steped up and missed the throw anyway.  The refs gave us some calls as well.  They did not cost us the game.
