I recently went back and figured out the lifetime records of our current jerseys. The data can be found in the link above.
And all of the discussion about it is in the link below =/

edit: and hey, there's even a shout-out in the latest Rosiak post.
I wish we had more CBS games so we could have Gus Johnson.

I FUCKING LOVE LISTENING TO GUS JOHNSON!
Could Gus Johnson make a Wisconsin game sound entertaining?

If you all want to listen to a screaming hyena, go on a safari. I hate that guy. Just because he's spazzing and excited about a missed jump shot with 16 min. to go and a team up 25 doesn't mean he's good. I ended up watching that Xavier/Butler game last year on mute.
Agreed. He called Illinois/Indiana recently. It was a horrific basketball game, and his screaming was beyond annoying. And he was a complete homer for the Hoosiers, which pisses me off. If you work for the school, or the team, fine, be a homer. But if you work for the network, then be a pro and call it neutral.

Was he in the AH Lobby to provide color commentary on that moving post-game celebration? I for one had tears streaming down my cheeks. Our child, Tommy, had finally arrived.
I went to high school with Gus Johnson - University of Detroit Jesuit. Gus is a great guy. He was two years ahead of me, but we both played baseball. Excellent athlete who went to Howard on an athletic scholarship. I'm biased, but I like listening to him as an announcer.

I agree with you. I actually think Bill Simmons started touting him as a little bit of a joke and now people talk about him like it's exciting to listen to him scream. Frankly, I like an announcer who doesn't think he's part of the game. Understated is good. Vin Scully, he ain't.

Disagree. I think he's fun to listen to. I hate listening to Dick Vitale, on the other hand. I guess it just depends on whether or not you find a particular announcer's schtick to your liking. To me, nothing better than Gus and a close game.
