This was from a game against Oakland High in December. The Hayward Athletic League where Castro Valley plays is highly respected and they beat Oakland High. Juan looks like a delight.

These guys at Castro Valley are going for the State! See link below Cal's Mike Montgomery was probably salivating.

I hope he's all that's advertised, but I'm trying to temper my expectations. Recent reports lead me to think he'll be a 6'9" dominant SF that can shoot the three, drive, and pretty much do it all. However, as a freshman all I expect is for him to be a decent backup, occasionally contributing off the bench behind Jamil Wilson. As much as I'd love an all-world player who can Carmelo us to a title in his first year, I'll try to expect a freshman who has promise and years to grow. Much safer that way.
Good news, MU fans...he has experience playing the 5 spot. ;)

Every second he spends with Todd Smith will be big. He seems to have bought into the culture of the program, so I'm not worried about him. He'll be a great, versatile option off the bench.
Man... I hope teams try to press MU next year. A lot of guys that can handle the ball.

If I remember right, he's a longshot to qualify and will probably go JUCO.
Hope Buzz keeps an eye on him.

Got it - Bobbitt may not qualify, but no issues for our recruit Anderson.
