Looks like Cuse fans agree in our nickname for him....

They look at the stats and think Butler is not a good three point shooter. He is a very good three point shooter, he just does not take them a lot them. In fact overall he does not take enough shots.
I am overjoyed that he made the shot, but I don't think that is the shot we were looking for. Both JFB and DJO's weren't exactly set your feet open 3s. The SU fans probably have a point, just glad that we pulled it out.
His problem is that he isn't much of a creator. He needs to have someone get the ball to him where he can use it.

What comes around goes around. If Ben Hansbrough doesn't make that falling out of bounds as the shot clock expires three in our rematch with ND we have a way better chance of beating them. Things tend to even out in the end, and the teams that have been in tough situations time and time again will have the big shots go both ways throughout a season.
I think I saw Preston Knowles was 1-8 yesterday. The collapse at Louisville never happens unless he goes on a tear. That's kind of the way it goes. If DJO missed his 3 we'd all be complaining that we got a long 3 late in the shot clock. It went in so everything is good. Syr gets to rail on their team.
There must be some custom shirt for JFB...
This senior deserves it. Heart and Soul for this team...Jae looks like a great replacement, though.

There is...I saw a guy with a navy blue shirt on at the game yesterday with "33" on the back and cursive writing across the number saying "The Butler Did It...". As far as an actual JFB...maybe someone here on the Scoop can make a special shirt with the number 33 and JFB above the number.
And as far as JFB's shooting from 3, he was 50% beyond the arc last year and is 43.3% from 3 this year. He doesn't take a lot of those shots, but he's pretty damn good at making the ones he does take.
