Title: Three goggles
Post by: CrazyEcho on January 29, 2011, 04:47:24 PM
Did anyone see Butler put on the "three goggles" after he made the clutch step-back three?

Shout out to his boy Wesley Matthews and the Portland Trail Blazers.

What does that mean when players are doing that?

I believe Matthews does it when he hits a three. I love it, but I believe one of our players was told to knock it off a couple games back.

After our game against ND when we hit all the threes Wesley's status on FB was something along the lines of "My Marquette boys better start throwing up them three goggles or Imma have something to say!" Guess he really likes it when the players do it.

Actually the first time I saw it was Belein's kid when he was with WVU.  This would have been the Pittsnogle era where they blew that lead v. Louisville in the elite 8.
