Title: DJO's back?
Post by: rocky_warrior on January 29, 2011, 04:25:41 PM
Anybody know what was up at the end?  Listening to the post-game show to see if Buzz says anything.

Just speculation, but it looked like he took a bit of a shot on an attempted foul by Syracuse. He seemed to be walking OK in the handshake line.

I saw him with a grey heat pad while on the bench... maybe it was just muscle cramps

True, at one point earlier in the game they were massaging/working on his side/ribs/back.  Maybe he bruised something during practice, and it was just bugging him all game...

I saw him grabbing it after the dunk for the first time. He didn't look to be in too much pain.

pulled a muscle   was worked on very early in the game.  he twisted to get the ball at the end, nearly doubled over when he got past half court but did seem to walk off the court OK

Buzz said it's a hip pointer on the post-game.

He didn't look like he was in any pain after he hit that big 3 near the end.
Just like I won't be in any pain after a couple of victory beverages tonight.

He looked like he was in pain on that 3 actually. I just watched the highlights and he is clearly seen holding the area in question after he lets the shot go. Let's pray that he heals quickly and is ready for Nova

He  grabbed his back on the last play and the team ran over to him as the clock expired and it didn't look good

Todd Rosiak said the back is fine, on his blog.

Anyone know what happened to DJO at the end of the game.  He looked to have been shaken up right at the end?
