Very attractive national matchup
I hope so. I feel like every year we play Thursday morning/afternoon. And if we lose that game, I feel like we were never even part of the tourney.
Seconded. I remember being home for the Tulsa game, which IIRC, was the first game to tip off on Thursday morning. Felt like we weren't even part of the madness.
Then last year, same deal, after the bomb scare, our game was about the 8th game of the day. Gone. Ouch.
i would expect that we are the most attractive of the 4 games the first day and since North Carolina will get TV time everytime they play I think the order will be:
11 am: Georgetown-Belmont
30 Min later: Tex Tech - Bos College
Primetime:
Game 1: MU - MSU
30 Min later: UNC - Eastern Ky
then on Sat the Georgetown game will be 1st and UNC-MU/MSU 2nd.
Hopefully the Hoya faithful roots for the Big East team and gives us a bit more fan support especially with all the Heel Blue in the building.
Well, one upside, I and another Warrior alum just happen to be going to the games in W-S this year, so we'll do our best to bring home a W or 2.
Go Warriors.
Go Big East.
Unfortunately, the Ohio State game is scheduled to start at 7:10 on Thursday. That could mean that those of us in Ohio might not get to see the Marquette/MSU game. Hopefully Ohio State will jump onto CCS early and CBS will turn to the Marquette game.
The Tulsa game was actually a 1:30 tip a few years ago. The game against Holy Cross in '03 was the first game of the tournament to start. I recall both, as I made the drive down to St. Louis for the Tulsa game, and also to Indy for the Holy Cross game.
and the Duke game is scheduled for an hour earlier than MU-MSU...so those of us in the South are hosed for home TV. but i'm hoping to get tickets and represent in person!
GO MU!!
Hopefully we are on nationally and get bumped because we are kicking butt. I'm tired of it being the other way around.
