are we gonna have DJO on Kemba, and then have Vander come off the bench and do the same? I recall a game last year that we had DJO shut down someone and his offense suffered as a result (don't remember what game) . Can we afford that tonight?
I thought Buycks was a good shut down guy--that is one of the reasons he has been playing 30 minutes a game.
I want Buycks to guard him if that is the case, but I don't know if he could handle it. IMO it needs to be DJO or Vander. Vander and Dwight and their offense are not even close to as important as DJO's. If we hold Kemba under 20 I have a really good feeling about this game
Well, it worked last year against South Florida. DJO didn't score (3 points on 1/5 shooting) but did a great job on Dominique Jones, who scored 16 points on a woeful 6/21 shooting just a couple days after guaranteeing a USF victory. Buzz called him the player of the game for his defensive performance. If he can do the same to Walker, we'll win tonight even without DJO having a big offensive game.
That's the game I was thinking of. DJO should be the guy I am thinking with Vander guarding him when DJO needs a breather.
I think you have to have DJO start on him. I also think Buzz will mix it up and put buycks and vander on him for a while.
The key may be oriakhi, however, as he is a much improved big man.
I am not too worried about Oriakhi down low. The big man I am worried about will be in Milwaukee on Saturday, Rick Jackson.

Frightening
I agree that is why I really want a W tonight becuz the next 2 will be even bigger challenges. Gotta have this one.
