Did anyone else still feel bitter while watching this game from the louisville incident, cause I sure did. I think our players are doing a much better job of putting that behind them than at least I am.

I feel a little better now. But only a little.

Wow, I was thinking this exact thing during that entire game. We really let one get away at Ville and it still pisses me off cuz MU is just better than UofL this year and 5-1 would be real nice right now.
The crowd at the BC seemed that way as well. A quiet nervousness. The dunk by Jae and then following oop to Butler ignited the crowd briefly but it was kind of dead in there. Should be different for UConn next week.

Agreed. The meltdown will put a stigma on our record this year. It certainly looks that Loserville and Slick Rick are overrated. I think we would kick their ass on our floor. 5-1 would be real nice right now, and would likely put us near top 25. That loss should stick in everyone's craw.
I agree. The crowd last night was quiet for a Big East game, but it was Depaul. I was livid with how we played for the first 11 minutes, and was somewhat worried, but then we went on the run to end the half and never looked back. Were those 2 alley oops our first 2 of the year??

Yes it will count as one loss.
I was fine except everytime they mentioned lousiville or showed the big east standings the same feeling i had last saturday around 1230 or so came back
I keep thinking about 5-1, 5-1, 5-1 - like the pretty girl who's unattainable.
Will feel a lot better if we get to 5-2. 5-2, 5-2, 5-2.

Sounds crazy, but I wouldn't be shocked if they won the next three.
ND will be a load at their place though, especially after the whoopin MU put on them. Have to pressure the hell out of them, they'll wear down.

I'm no where close to getting over the L'ville debacle. For me personally, winning the next 3-4 is the only way I'll get over it. And even then, I'll still be playing the shoulda-woulda-coulda game (which has been a common theme the past few seasons).

Thank God you aren't on the team. They got over it and whumped DePaul. It's one loss. It was painful. Move on.

I'm sure we probably had at least one or two vs. the cupcake teams earlier in the year, but I don't recall any.

You don't want to live in the "woods" though, bro! Fall down 7 times . . .
