According to Vegas Insider, we are a 20 point favorite tonight.
Now if I was a Depaul fan I would be jumping on that big time.
Hard to believe that point spread.
If it is less than 20, I am sure that certain people will be complaining.

Depaul Game - Only a 17-point win? BS! We would have covered if Buzz didn't run off Scott Christopherson!

Add Newbill to Christopherson and you basically have Chico's next post. Esp if we shoot less than 96% from 3 land tonight

the fix is in....
20 would surprise me. DePaul has been at least somewhat competitive. I think 10-15 is more likely.
Have we forgotten last year's game already? I wouldn't touch this game with a double digit spread
As someone who does enjoy....um...."gaming".....I could see the books making this line based upon the following thoughts:
1. MU just blew out N.D. at home and was blowing out Louisville at their place until, well, we know the rest.
2. MU may be the type of team that has enough character and anger over that last result that they will put the hurt on Depaul often and early.
3. If MU gets to blowing out DePaul, surely Coach Buzz and team will NOT take the foot off the pedal and in fact make a statement and point, thusly showing that the last 5 minutes of the UL game was a brain-fart and fluke and that MU truly is a team to contend with in the remaining portion of the BEast and one that passes the eyeball test for the NCAA tourney.
Now, that is why it is gambling...there is another school of thought that says they will be smarting so badly from that game that this is a good time to catch them. I am in the school that says MU bounces back in a big way tonight and takes it out on Depaul. 20 is a helluva number, though.
I'll just be happy with a win. DePaul is 3-52 in their last 55 Big East regular season games. 1-40 over their last 41 conference matchups in the regular season.
Let's not repeat what happened last year.

Don't like that we are the 1 in 1-40!

Hey Willie ... remind me to never call your 900 number for your tip of the week.
When Vegas makes a line that makes one team look "easy" be careful.

77 - If I stayed in Vegas long enough I'm sure they'd have all my money. Unfortunately my small contribution wouldn't help your budget deficit much.
Our economy sucks! Every little bit helps! That's why I don't like to gamble. I spend my discretionary money on my addiction - golf.
Mmmmmmm, golf. My last vice.

Hey Willie
Sorry, it wasn't my tip--it was Vegas Insider. Obviously they blew it. Vegas oddsmakers most often know what they are doing.
