so I looked up Lazar's stats with the T-wolves and I noticed he hasn't played in nearly a month. anyone know why? Is he hurt or just not performing?

Lazar hasn't even been dressing for most games in the last month. They just have too many guys ahead of him who have been in the league and can play.
Martell Webster came back from injury about a month ago really ending any shot Zar had of getting PT. With Beasley, Webster, Wes Johnson all looking for time at the 3; there just isn't any time for him.
He should be very happy to be a first round pick and the $$ that comes with it. Hope he invests it wisely.
Does anyone know why the Timberwolves even traded for him with so many guys in front of him? What was the point of trading for him?

Same reason they drafted 3 pgs in the same draft. David Kahn is a moron.

David Kahn traded for SF Michael Beasley and SF Martell Webster. He also drafted SF Wesley Johnson and SF Lazar Hayward. They can all team up with SF Corey Brewer. Also interesting, the T-wolves have no true SG and despite drafting 3 PGs last year, they brought in PG Luke Ridnour and PG Sebastian Telfair this offseason.
Lazar's best hope is probably to get traded to a team whose GM knows what the hell he's doing.

or Jerry Sichting loves Tom Crean so much that he wanted one of his former players around.
It's funny how every thread, in some form can be a Crean versus Buzz. Kind of like the six degrees of Kevin Bacon
