For 35 minutes they really took it to Louisville. That is the best I've seen this team play. (better than ND, its easy to play well when all your shots are dropping). The defensive sequence when everbody had to recover and ultimately Junior created a steal and was fouled on the layup was fantastic. Now I fear all of that will be forgotten. Hope Buzz can help them take away the good they accomplished and not just the panic at the end. Darn we could have used that win.

If there's any silver lining it's that we saw a team today that would be capable of beating many teams. They brought about their C- game offensively yet were dominating UL. Now, will they build off it or will this devestating loss define them?
Unfortunately, the game is 40 minutes long. They'll learn, and when that happens, it'll be seashells and balloons.
You're right. We focus on how devastated we are, and the players have so much more invested. Can't imagine how they feel. Almost no way to lose that game with the lead we had. Hope the players take it out on DePaul. Can't give that one away with a hangover effect from this debacle.
