Title: Anyone Still Questioning Gardner's Minutes?
Post by: MilWarrior on January 15, 2011, 10:34:20 AM
He's still got a ton of work to do. Game is too fast for him right now. Still, glad to see him getting some meaningful minutes.

Perhaps he had a great last few days of practice and earned these minutes even though Coach probably suspected they wouldn't be great.

I don't know...his rebounds and points per minutes are so much better than Otule.

still looks lost on Defense. Good to see we can go that deep though even if its for 2-4 minutes so the stars can get a breather.

And so does Otule--he lumbers down the floor also.

Otule is 10x the player Gardner is right now.  It isn't even close.

the kid plays for 40 seconds and you idiots say he is no good.  Crowder has now left his man at the end of the game, twice (Vandy/Lville), and given up game winning layups and all you can do is rag on Gardner?
?

You sure that wasn't butlers fault?  I need to watch it again but...

JFB left to help and his man got the game-winning layup.  No one rotated to pick up the space with JFB's guy.

Idiots is a little harsh. Cool down. I said it right after Gardner went in. It is very apparent why he isn't playing. In no way shape or form am I blaming the loss on him. Next time check to see when the thread was started.

Buzz just said they were in "black" which means switch...  Who's guy set the pick?  He should have switched based on what buzz just said...

Otule: 20 minutes, 1 rebound!

I've been saying that.

I hope Buzz and the coaches don't give up on him.

I understand he only plays 40 sconds, but that is because he comes in for 40 seconds and does 2 or 3 horrible things every time.
