Anyone have any recommendations for watching the DePaul game? I'll be staying at the Paper Valley, so I'm downtown. So somewhere between the Paper Valley and Beansnappers would be ideal.
First I'm sorry. No place in wisconsin sucks more than appleton.
2nd) I've heard good things about "The Bar" http://www.meetatthebar.com/appleton_ave.html might be your best shot for anything

You should be able to go any bar along Water St. and be fine. If you feel like a field trip, head down to Fondy and go to Diener's parents bar the Press Box.
Putting this up for anymore suggestions.

Totally disagree. I am from the Appleton area, and all of College Ave. is alright. It is like Water St. Junior.
As mentioned, "The Bar" is pretty decent.
I'm sure there are enough bars in the area that you could find at least one with the game on.

I'll be the judge of this after a few nights.

Yeah, I don't mind Appleton, there are better places to be and much worse places to be. Haven't been there in 5 years or so but can't imagine much has changed. It's kind of like a college town that's missing the college (Lawrence University doesn't count).
How did Appleton treat you PTM?
