If Scott is back, we will more than likely lose. If not, we have a puncher's chance. If the 3pt shooting %'s are closer to normal at their place with their fans and their refs, ND still probably wins. But, man, was last night fun. Most fun you can have with your clothes on and not golfing.
I remembering seeing something last night after the game that Brey didn't expect Scott back until some point in early February...hopefully that holds.
If Scott's not back, I think we've got a good shot at winning, even without the magical mystery 3-point differential. Yes, we were lights out, they were horribly off, but we were simply the better team with them not having any real presence down low. If this had been an 8-point win, you could simply look at the 3's and call it an aberration, but it was 22. Yes, they are better, we're probably not that good, it will be much harder down there, but no Scott and I think we go in with the edge.
Personally, I'm just glad that we get to play them again next calendar week. Only one chance for them to drop in the rankings before we see them. If Scott's out until February, they could be out of the rankings by that time. Next four are St. John's away, Cincy home, Marquette home, Pitt away. They could easily have a 5-game losing streak going soon.

That's what it said this morning in the Chicago Trib.
