Title: Question about Marquette players and this board
Post by: Marquette_Fan on January 11, 2011, 02:30:20 AM
I was wondering if Marquette players read this board or even participate ?

I know for a fact that a current player reads the board. He has never posted however.

Not surprising...if I was a current player....I'd be curious too to see what the fans are thinking (of me, and the team.)  Curiousity is quite hard to ignore.

Sadly, some here with 1/100th of the basketball ability and knowledge become highly critical of some of our kids...and coaching staff.  But..I guess that is what some fans do.

I have also heard they do know what's being said scoop. Athletic Department staff also reads it too.

I do hope that the players understand that I am really the only knowledgeable person in this place and I am getting tired of dealing with all you schmucks.

If there was a message board about you and your buddies when you were in college or you and your work if your are now employed, would you read it?

Of course you would.

The players, staff, etc are no different.

Especially for not even posting a real domain --someone post the "page fail" screenshot, quick!

If I played hoops for MU, my alter ego would be posting here every single day, and I would rag on my teammates (of course, they would know that it's actually me) all the time for no other reason but to add some levity in the locker room before a game.

Yes....I carry around my bass guitar that I still have from playing the national anthem on senior day (remember that)?

I also fondly remember Walter jumping around excitedly his senior year when we beat DePaul (who was actually really good back then and was the school Walter transferred from to MU).

1) Sorry, bad choice...no you're not.  See here: http://www.muscoop.com/index.php?topic=5098.msg45500#msg45500

2) You spelled his last name wrong

3) Last time we heard from lscrimenti (i.e. Linda) on January 18, 2009 she said that she and Joe had broken up.  However, on Dec 10, 2010 she updated his wiki page (http://wiki.muscoop.com/doku.php/men_s_basketball/joe_nethen) to say "Joe Nethen Jr. resides and works in the Port Washington, WI area, with "(his) soul mate & wife, Linda. Nethen has two sons." - congrats Joe & Linda!
