I thought it was loud when Novak hit the go-ahead 3 vs. Notre Dame years ago.

Good call-As far as crowd noise in the BC, I would rate Novak's game winner right behind Diener's 3 against the 'Cards to tie it up in '03. Unfortunately, it was followed by one of the quitest moments after Gaines hit the ridiculous game winner.

Frozena was a great high school basketball player. I think he averaged 21 points per game and was all conference as a senior at St. Mary's, Menasha, WI

That was easily the biggest emotional rollercoaster I ever experienced in a 10 second span at the BC...F-ing Gaines, who pulls up five feet behind the arc with 5 seconds left!? And then we rush back the other way and Diener doesn't see Novak standing all alone behind the arc on the wing...
Way to go, Noonan...you've got me fired up again! >:(

I thought the Francisco Garcia 3 was worse. MU had that game WON. It was over. But they couldn't hit clutch FTs and Amoroso had the dumbest foul I've ever seen committed when he turned and gave a two-handed shove to the L'ville player during a FT attempt. I have a friend who is normally very sane but, to this day, he is convinced Amo was taking money to throw that game. That reminds me, I should call that guy and ask him his thoughts on the up-coming L'ville game :D
EDIT: Meant Garcia, not Smith. Mixed up my heart-breaking losses to L'ville.
