Starters the same.
For all u mobile phones at the game... And anyone else.
For those of u not listening to homer on the way to the game today is the 30 year anniversary of doc rivers sinking a 44 footer to beat ND. Doc was a freshman.
Let's go boys!
Student section not so good. Upper deck of student sect about 1/4 full
Maybe students aren't back?
Students are still on break
Blue is doubling the post immediately. WAtch the wide open 3's
Settling for jumpers early-lets get a little more ball movement on O
Hansb was not even close to being set. Never stopped moving
Otule has been a real bright spot this game. Feel like this might be the first game we could truly have the edge underneath
It's obvious the game plan is to double the post. If ND finds their strokefrom 3. Watch out
I don't get it at all. Otule does not need help playing post d on these guys
Frustrating to pick up fouls 30 feet from the hoop

Still? It'll be time for spring break by the time they get back!
Chris playing strong on both ends, Gardner missing an easy offensive board and getting burned on defense as soon as he gets in so Buzz goes right back to Otule.
Grrrrrr....Gardener got beat back big time on that one....need to pick up the feet and hustle back!!! :-X
3 uncontested bunnies - so far.

Agree..no need for the doubles down low...and I've never seen a team that gets burned by double teams more than MU - it is amazing how frequently the offensive player is able to step through a double team and find an open man under the basket..
Wow, that charge was crap

No replay at the stadium. Was there on espn2?
The charge was a good call and Crowder knew it.
Anyway, I wish Fulce would have been healthy during his career here. His energy is incredible.
Oh and I'd rather put EWill in than Gardner at this point.

Yes...Crowder was leaning.
Especially after giving Hansb the call earlier
The good ole Irish are getting that preferntial, Notre Dame treatment from the referees. Horse dung calls on DJO's charge, DJO's "foul" against an out of control driving Hansborough where he pokes the ball out, Crowder getting called for a charge (terrible particularily when measured against the one the called on DJO as he took Hansborough to the hoop), then the phantom foul on Otule as he established post position coming across the lane. 4 legitimate, BAD fouls on MU
6/7 from 3pt. Is ND trying to play our style of defense?

Please stop. DJOs call was questionable...Crowder's was not.

Questionable, yes, but calls you certainly expect to get on your home court
So far so good....DJO not much of a factor and MU is getting the points from other sources. Otule a bright spot. DG brutal on defense. Jr. C playing decent on defense and running the point. And, I can't believe Rafferty called JFB "Butters."
Dodging bullets right now. ND is missing wide open 3s.
ND is going to start making those shots sooner or later
Put something in the hoop going in to half time. This is really a must win for MU....an absolute must.
By watching N.D....it is clear to me now....they WILL be joining the Big 10.
at the Halftime show, Carl Ravich just said how its a Marquette trait that we don't have big men

I have never understood how, even when I was at MU, this was the norm. Somehow we always managed to play ND at home when the students are/were still out but it NEVER seemed to happen that way when we are at ND.....this has happened more times than I can remember.....
Many times when I was there the game was conveniently on the Saturday before a Mon-Tues registration and most OOS students like me weren't coming back until Sunday.....
It's really disappointing that we can't get ANY contribution from Ox. He comes in, gets beat in help and gives up a hoop. Goes down on offense and is on perfect position to grab JB's miss but doesn't, then gets beat down the floor and gives up an easy duece. And that's been his story since conference play started
Are there really no minutes for EW when you're getting e negative contribution from the youngster?

Agree. Please stop Sultan. Both were horse dung calls.
ND better not tie this with 20 secs left since they should have taken at least that many when the clock wasn't moving
Has Van ever made 2 FT's?

Disagree, one dung one not dung.
We're up 10, let's keep it going!!
Stars are definitely aligning tonight. We're hitting 3's and they are missing wide open 3's. Love it.
No more who?
We look like Pitt out there with all those 3's at home.
Hate wasting opps to extend the lead like that sequence before the break. No reason not to cap. on that.

Bounce pass Byucks
DJO drives me nuts
First appearance by the crowd
Gotta like the props these announcers are giving O'Tule.
DJO can exasperate/exhilerate you.
God, we need this one.
Go clock go!
Hey guys.... The printers out of ink
Just shake it.
Pounds 'em with Otule and are now running them out of the gym. Fun stuff.

LOL...you are so funny Ners...
DJO great play... Don't celebrate with the ball still in play. Get back on D
Crowder is a stud. His confidence is going up by the minute
Check that, better than Pitt from 3. ND looks totally demoralized.
Seriously, this is the 11th best team in the country?
When DJO hit that three to make it 13 this piece was curtains!
Hand it to the defense. ND didn't get the looks they did in the first half. Incredible effort.
whispers that Buzz has lost this team can still be heard
that was meant to be in teal.
He had at least one foot above FT line when foul was committed. I think LeBron might travel covering that much ground
I think it should be yesmorebuycks.
Buycks has been good all year. Player of the game for Dwight. Props to Jae, Jimmy, DJO and the rest of the guys for their defense.

Also off one more week

We had a DVR hiccup tonight (it is recording the 10 pm game), so we didn't start watching until MU was already up by 13.
Was the defense really better, or was it a matter of ND missing open looks? Or open looks in the 1H and better D in the 2H?
Option #3

Yeah - Same here. I recall coming back "early" so I could go to the Notre-Who? game. then spending a lonely Sunday in the dorm.
You needed to work harder if you were lonely. A near empty dorm was an opportunity for awesomeness, not a reason to complain. And I remember coming back from winter break early just to watch David Rivers stick it to us. There was still much drinking that night.

Not tonight. They had plenty of wide open looks they didn't hit. I'm sure when we go play in South Bend it will be a very tough game. They did manage to beat UW-madison
