According to Pomeroy...
But Buzz is a genius and the right guy to lead MU forward.
The problems with defensive rotations, not fighting through screens and just flat-out losing your man are staggering and inexcusable for a big time program like MU.
We missed you the last week, buddy. Not surprised that you are back. mazel tov

You guys can pound on him, but he's certainly right. It's been an Achilles heel for us all year along with rebounding.

Who would you like to lead MU forward? Which coach out there at the time of Buzz's hire would you have liked to see hire - that actually would have come to MU? What coach right now would you rather have coach this team - that would actually come to MU?

And there's already a thread today for 3-point shooting. This could also be addressed in game thoughts. He's just creating a thread because he's an attention whore and lives to preach negativity. Of course, his lack of intelligence is shown on every post when he tries to discredit one of our best players via his username.
Though to his credit, his attention whoring works...we do pile on.

I think Mr NMB is getting pounded on for statements such as this:

And past posts involving undeserved negativity. But hey, he does occasionally make accurate statements.
Yes our three point defense has been atrocious this season but to basically call for buzz to be fired is a ridiculous thought.
I'm not saying he's perfect but he is a young coach and is still learning. Things will get better. If you hate the coach and dont like the team or how we are playing, dont follow them or better yet find the nearest bridge. Bc this bs after every game is getting old. Nomorebuycks sentiments on this team are getting absolutely ridiculous. And I for one am ashamed that I even let his nonsense role me up.
We will get better.

I'm not calling for Buzz to be fired. But there are problems that aren't minor and must be addressed.
Buzz's team at NO had problems with defense. MU has problems with defense.
Are all those players from each school incapable of playing adequate defense, or is the problem Buzz and his system/philosophy?

I thought Buycks played pretty well again today

Still waiting for who you want to coach here at MU? And are you really comparing 1 year at New Orleans to our experience under Buzz in the Big East? Does that fact MU ranks 6th in Field Goal percentage offensively bother you? What about 10th in assists per game? What about 19th in Points Scored? Does it bother you that our team has MADE more free throws than our opponents have taken? Who is that perfect coach out there that will have his team ranked in the top 20 of all major offensive and defensive statistical categories?

My bad, read it to quick.

Im just asking... Are we really ranked in the top 20 of all major defensive categories? What are the major def categories?
No, we aren't. Ners is saying that the perfect coach who will instantly make us great in every aspect of the game doesn't exist. But that doesn't stop nmb for pining for...erm...well, we don't really know as he's never identified who he does want coaching MU.
Nomorebuycks-
When you sarcastically question whether buzz is the right man going forward you are pretty much calling for his job. At least that's the way I look at it.
And yes we need to work on our defense, a lot. Nobody is questioning that. It's just the way you bring your negativity out about this team every chance you possibly get. It's effing annoying to say the least.
And yes I agree, buycks probably had the beat game out of anyone today actually.

So, how do you think Buycks played today?
If we we're too concern about interior rebounding, we'd contest. If we play the 3pt line, we get eaten up inside.
Which poison to choose?
Pitt misses just THREE 3pters and we have a nailbiter.
They shoot the lights out from downtown and we only lose by 8...
...in front of the Oakland Zoo
...to the 5th ranked Panthers
...who return almost ALL of their scoring, rebounding, etc.
Though I hate MU losses, not bad overall...
Heck. We COULD have been St Johns...
Man, we win two in a row, I see nothing from NMB, and I think he's faded away forever. We lose one to the 5th best team in the nation right now on their court in a tough environment by single digits and he creeps out of the woodwork.

We better fix this fast as ND lives by the 3!
