I hate it. We allow way too many dunks and lay ups. A big always steps in to help and leaves his guy wide open. Been hurting us all year. We are giving up all these no footers while we shoot from 20' away from the hoop. I cant believe we have been in every game this season playing this type of D. D up and box out. Could be undefeated if our bigs could do that!!
What interior defense?
The game switched in favor of Pitt, when Jae got his 2nd foul.
That would imply we have a legitimate big man.

seriously, what bigs? Crowder is 6'6 and he can't be everywhere. otule and Gardner are not ready for teams like Pitt.
well the guys that are playing the forward and center positions. height shouldnt matter that much if they stay on their guy. they help too soon and a short pass is made to another player wide open under the basket.

Your premise makes no sense. Is it our big guy's fault that our perimeter defenders can't stay in front of their guy, resulting in the big "always stepping up to help and leaving his guy wide open"? What would you rather have, our big guy not rotating to help, conceding an easy layup by the driving player or should he rotate to stop the driver, resulting in his man becoming open? It's not all on our big guys...our small guys play defense like 2nd graders too.
