I was driving home from work today when I heard the local sports talk radio station talking to the UNLV beat writer. He said Reggie was flying in tonight and was attending the UNLV-TCU game on Saturday.
Pittsburgh...Vegas...Pittsburgh...Vegas.
Who says Reggie is misguided? Kid knows where to spend the Wild Card Weekend.
Who cares? This guy quit our team. He should no longer be news. Let's follow our team. Go MU!
I care. Thanks for posting.

You're right. We NEVER discuss players (or coaches) who have left the team!
Go Warriors! Beat Pitt!
Maybe Blankston will show him around?
And drop in at Spotty's to watch the MU game and chat with those fine lookin' ladies.
Like the sun rising, there's gotta be someone who says "who cares, he left the team."
We should really have a pool on that.
I do care where former MU players end up. That being said, it's kind of odd in how many people keep on caring in what these players are doing. Kind of like they are in love with them.
There is zero oddness about the curiosity one has about the future of the players that have worn a MU jersey (or, cough cough, signed a NLI for our beloved team.)
If they stay 4 years, we want to know where they play later, in the NBA or Europe or Latin America and what they amounted to after MU -- just like non-players, I'd add.
If they stay less than their 4 years, we want to know what could have been. Are we happy or sad that they left? Are they happy or sad they left?
Not to single you out, but the link was "Reggie Smith visiting UNLV" .. if that doesn't interest you, don't click it. "Who cares?" .. well, Captain Irony, you cared enough to click the link. Or was it just to put down people who do care? Well, awesome for you.
I too care where former MU players end up, and actually like to passively monitor their stats, etc., as they get playing for their new school. Maybe it's dumb to some, and I can see the point of the "who cares" faction - but, is it really a big deal if some of us want to follow former players and keep aware of where they land??!
I'm particularily interested to see how things end up for Reggie - as I think he's got some great tools that can translate into him becoming a very good player at the high major level.
I care ;D
Looks like Franklin and Reggie are on UNLV's radar
"He's trying to make the transition from being a combo guard to a point guard," said Mike Irvin, who was Smith's AAU coach with the Chicago-based Mac Irvin Fire. "I know he's looking for a system where he can get up and down so he can show more of his athleticism. He definitely can play at the collegiate level, he just needs to work more on becoming a point guard.
"Coach Kruger's a good coach and he was a point guard. You've got Steve Henson on the staff and he was a point guard, and you have Lew (Hill) down there. We think they'd be very good at developing Reggie Smith as a staff."
Irvin said another attraction of UNLV's for Smith and his family, which is handling his recruitment, is the school's location. He said that he feels Smith needs a change of scenery, which worked for another former combo guard out of his AAU program — former Gonzaga standout Jeremy Pargo, who is now a successful pro overseas.

So that means that if a former player who quit for more playing time had a line today of:
9 minutes, 2 points, NO rebounds, 4 TOs, 4 PFs, 1 assist.
That we shouldn't post it. ;D
Vegas=Good Choice!!!!
Who the heck wouldnt want to live their during college!!
In hind sight I wish I went to UNLV....Probably would have lost all my groundskeeper job money at the Ellis Island though.
