Hope this doesn't count as political chatter.

Hey, anytime you can get a three term senator on your faculty, it's a good thing.
Really? What on earth can he teach anybody?
No matter what your political views, this is a good thing.
Not a fan of him politically (obviously) but he has a solid resume: Harvard, State Senate, US Senate, plus 6 years in private practie.
He probably needs something to do that'll pay decent. Having 2 ex wives must hurt the finances a little.

He's a visiting professor teaching one upper division law course: "Current Legal Issues: The US Senate."
I'm pretty sure he's qualified for that. ::)

So many things that could be said....so so so many
He was one of the best Senators in recent times... much less one of the best Wisconsin senators... He will fit great as a teacher, especially as one of the class he will be teaching in Law.

Cough cough...all depends how you define best and what you stand for. For those of that feel what he stood for was nonsense, hard to throw him in the camp of "best Senators in recent times." The people of Wisconsin certainly didn't think so this last election.
Now, now, play nice. We can't have this devolve into a "political thread."
Regardless of political party you have to be glad that Marquette landed a new faculty member with a lot of experience.

The United States Supreme Court disagrees.
