Pitt beats Prov by 4 at Providence
Irish over UConn by 3. UConn has a chance to send it to overtime and jacks up an ill-advised air ball 3 with plenty of time left. If I was a UConn fan, I would be irate at that end-of-game play. (I imagine Calhoun cannot be pleased with that kid -- Napier?)
I was glad Pitt pulled that on out. I want them to be a true #5 when we get our crack on Saturday.
Uconn played a little better today from what I saw but they are still vastly overrated. I want to play them badly, either attack Kemba and get him in foul trouble or guard him 4 on 1 and let 1 other guy guard their other 4 brick layers.
ND is still solid even though I hate Hansbrough. They needed Scott though(anyone know if hes out a while or will he play monday?) and they are not very deep so when we play them if we use our quickness and ability to get to line, we can get guys like Martin, Nash and Abro in foul trouble.

Nash is the one Notre Dame player that scares me - he's a beast on the glass, athletic, and has gotten a lot stronger. Should be a good battle between him and Jae.

Agreed. He does everything solid. The outside game of Abro and Hansbrough is solid as well as what Scott contributes by stretching the D but Nash is the difference. If we can get rebounds against those guys we can defintily beat them.

I've got to disagree with you here Ners. The only way that ND can beat us is with the three, and with Abro, Martin, and Hansbourgh they have the guys who can do it. If MU wins, it'll be because we defended the three.
That's why we beat 'em last year when they had Harangoody, but lost to 'em when he was out.
