Inspired by the similarly name thread.
Mods, feel free to combine
I voted Louisville, as I explain in the other thread, ND would be a close second.
Pittsburgh. Love em this year. Whenever I hear thier name I think of Stevie Novak draining threes in OT.
Where is the None of the Above choice?
No TCU??
It was hard to choose between both Providences but I picked the bottom one

How can you like those punks? The top Providence is clearly a better group of kids...

I assumed the bottom Providence was the real Providence and the top Providence consisted of their brothers, cousins and well-wishers.
Where's Notre Dame?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!? ::)
Like St. John's current team. They haven't done anything since we entered the Big East that has made me hate them. Have really liked some of their teams in my lifetime. And feel a kinship with them because they're one of the few schools that got crushed in the name/mascot battle as bad, or arguably worse, than we did. We just got a generic name. The got a bad one.
I've actually liked a lot of Jay Wright's Villanova teams, but am not a big fan of the 2 Coreys. Think they're a little overrated this year. And Jay Wright's become a bit too much of a media darling.
Hate: 1) Louisville, by far. 2) Pitt.
Interesting that Georgetown is polling so well. I have nothing against the Georgetown teams but something about their fanbase sits wrong with me. Not as bad as Cuse, Looeyville, or Pitt fans but still a bit arrogant. They seem very dismissive of the "new" Big East teams.
It is not like G'Town is Kentucky, Kansas, UCLA, etc.. Someone should let them know they are not one of the few elite teams historically speaking.
I guess I can't vote for ND, or is it the obvious first choice? And who voted for Louisville? Fess up...
South Florida does make for a nice road trip.

My bad about forgetting ND. I added them.
I voted for the 'ville .... as I explained in the previous thread, I have a mad crush on Wiley Brown's thumb.
so easily, Villanova.

In that case I choose the top Providence, because my favorite college basketball personality of all-time is the brother who called a 20 sec. timeout before walking onto the court.
I choose Nova, cause they're pretty much everything I want Marquette to be as a program. I generally root for all the Catholic schools, though less for GTown and ND.
I still blame GTown and George Thompson for creating the strategy that has allowed the constant fouling without getting called we now have.
It was a toss up between Pitt and Nova. I like Dixon and Wright. I think they're good coaches and good characters.
I chose Pitt. They play a more hard-nosed game than Nova.
There is something about Huggins teams that you love to hate. So, WV isn't the bottom. ND will always be the team I hate the most.
A post-Gonzo Seton Hall intrigues me.
Most hated:
ND, Louisville, Cincy, WV.
Most liked:
Pitt, Nova, Georgetown, WV.
The people who voted for ND should be banned from this board.
While Pitt obviously isn't a Catholic school, I did see Jamie Dixon at mass when Pitt was in Milwaukee for the NCAA Tournament this past year. That info made him one of my mom's favorite coaches.

+10000000
(but i have heard some very good things about Mike Brey)
Other most hated: Louisville
Scottie Reynolds is probably one of my favorite non-MU players in the past decade.
Pitt -- I like watching them play.
I've always admired novas program, but the rest of the beast is evil and must be destroyed!!!
great poll.
Even if you kind of like ND, don't admit it. ever.
Villanova was easy choice. Like pitt, but hate them.
#1 hate - CINCY. screw those guys.
#2 hate - Louisville. anyone who votes for these guys should reexamine their fanhood.
Pitt - from Pittsburgh/live there now...and I love the intensity between us and them almost everytime we play.
Have tickets for Saturdays game but can't go because of work. Lame.
i picked Nova. School's similarities to MU are easy to identify with. I dont remember offhand Jay Wright ever doing/saying anything I didnt like (not that I don't readily acknowledge I'm probably forgetting something). They built football from the ground up, which as tired a topic as it is here, is always a fun daydreaming pipedream. Just really nothing to not like.
