down the stretch in games I hope its still clear that this is Jimmys team and hes still the overall leader. Today that really showed with him not forcing shot and only taking 4 while finding other ways to contribute.
We are not a solid free throw shooting team, and in games like today I find myself cringing when we go to the line late(much like last year too) but Im always confident JFB will knock em down. Hes the guy who needs the ball down the stretch.
Now I know people arnt saying Jimmy isnt our guy but hes still being forgotten a bit lately and with free throws being a bit of a weakness I hope everyone agrees hes the guy we want with the ball.
Last note, hopefully DJO turns things up for BE play. Today was a good start.
The warrior with the most heart always leads the clan, no matter the age.
Jae seems like he's getting more comfortable and I believe has leadership abilities on par or greater than Butler.
Not a bad thing to have more than one leader on a team.
Exactly I think they both can lead and you can see Jae's energy and emotion on the court. Im just saying from a true leadership standpoint late in the game you need to take the lead or close the game out with freebies I want Jimmy as the guy every damn time if hes 0-4 shooting, 2-20, or 12-14.

I trust any of DJO, Buycks, Jimmy and Jae at the end of the game shooting the ball. Give it to the hot hand. I don't want a 2-20 Jimmy with the ball at the end EVERY time lol
I love Jimmy but let's not ignore the numbers. Jae went 7-7 in the 2nd half. How many bad shots did he take compared to JB? Without Crowder, we would have been blown out. However, I do agree that I want Butler on the line rather than Jae but let's not confuse a better FT % with a better game. Jae has a higher FG%, 3PT&, RB avg, more BLK and STL.
Buzz said in the post-game that JFB was the reason we won this game. It's still his team. He's the quiet leader, the guy who gets it done without a lot of flash. Crowder is the guy who puts on the razzle dazzle. Agree with Stone Cold that it's nice to have more than one leader on a team. 24 hours ago this board was saying we had no leadership. Happy to be arguing about which of the guys is THE leader.

Was the photographer out getting a hot dog on Otule's putback dunk?
The last photo of Vander's finger roll looks both like he is flying and getting physically assaulted at the same time.

In the same interview Buzz said he feels like Jae is the heart and soul of this team... two leaders doesn't hurt...
Jae's quote from JS after the game, "When you look at the energy aspect of it for our team, I want to be the leader of that category," Crowder said. "I just want to be a leader every day - at practice, in games. I don't know if it's my team or I have the right to say that, but I want to be a part of it, and I want to be a main focus."

That is the drive we need. Looking forward to the things Jae does this season.

I wish that we could run a couple of plays for DJO to shoot from 15 feet or so and then let him loose. He seemed to regain his confidence after he hit a couple of 15-18 footers.
