I'm stealing from NY Warrior a bit...but I think he's right. Last night was the win we had to have. If we lose tonight it is not the end of the world. I'm more concerned with how we play tonight. Another game without Jerel (perhaps more to come) and we have to continue to find our way a bit with that situation.
Play well, play tough, stay healthy and if we lose....fine. I don't think our seed jumps up unless we go to the Finals of the BET
The only thing that sucks right now is that many are predicting a 5 seed...I'd rather be a 6....I'd rather be a 4. Does a win tonight move us into a 4 seed? I don't think so.

I think it would move MU to a four, actually. That'd be another RPI top 25 win at a road/neutral site......add in a road win last night and the resume would be greatly improved.
Lets not get ahead of ourselves.....MU is playing with house $$ tonight -- 2 games without McNeal, 2 wins. Not bad. This group has rebounded from a rough finish to the regular season.
are u going to the day games?
I am stuck at work, sucks
Potential Seeds in order of preference:
1) 3
2) 6
3) 4
4) 5
5) 7 (I think this one has very low potential)
That said, I think if we win the thing we could get a 3. Further, I think if we get a win tonight, we have a real shot at winning the whole thing. That's the only thing that makes me care about tonight. If they do lose, I'd get over it real quick, but a win could be huge.

well said
Well a win also gets you a rematch with Loserville and a very, very winnable game IMO. So in my eyes, if you get past Pitt you're in the Big East final on Saturday and looking at a 3 seed.

Assuming WVU doesn't take out the Cards

By no means a safe assumption. Either way, I'd take my chances in that game.
If we get a 5 seed, Crean should turn it down and go to the NIT!
