"Hittin this growth spurt is painful! My knees are killing me, and I can feel my muscles stretching. Hopefully, I get 3 inches."
Then he told Rosiak that he's a legit 6'6" (6'7" in shoes). Hopes to hit a legit 6'9"-6'10".
And he said he can't wait to get to MU!
Thank God 2011 is almost here, Juan! We can't wait either!!!

It is exciting though as long as he fills his frame. I do hope buzz doesn't try and play him out of position though just because he is tall.

There is a lot of talk going around that MU got a real diamond in the ruff with him. Seems to have a real good head on his shoulders and he is extremely appreciative of all the love MU fans are giving him. This kid is going to be fun to watch.
If he shoots from 6'6" to 6'8" or 6'9" my guess is he'll fly up the recruiting boards. Add in some East Coast scouts finally noticing the West Coast product and we might have that top-level recruit we were all hoping for when we were pursuing guys like Dawson, Faust, and Hood.

He seems to be as big a Marquette fan as anyone. He tweeted several times during the game and congratulated several players on their performance afterwards. Seems like a ream good kid that's excited to play ball next season.

I'm sure Buzz wanted any of the three, but I'm also pretty sure that he knew much earlier than we did that MU was out of the running.
Would love to see how Juan would play one on one against Tokoto. Since his team is winning more, bet he would outplay JPT.
